11:45 a.m. update: Firefighters extinguish Sayre basement fire

Sayre firefighters were called to the scene of a basement fire around 10:15 a.m. today at 601 N. Lehigh Ave.

Sayre police had blocked off the street, and emergency crews were finishing up around 11:05 a.m.
