Basement fire causes 'minimal' damage

TOWANDA – A fire in the basement of Suddenly Wadlington’s home at 307 Poplar St. in Towanda Thursday afternoon caused “minimal” damage, the Towanda fire chief said.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined yet, Towanda Fire Chief Bill Roof said.

No one was injured in the fire, he said.

The fire was reported at 2:16 p.m.
