Over 40 people were arrested Tuesday in a drug sweep conducted by authorities throughout Bradford County, as well as the Northern Tier area of Pennsylvania and New York.

According information provided by the vice unit of the state police barracks in Wyoming County, 61 arrest warrants were served on 42 suspects accused of numerous felony narcotic violations. Police reported that among the charges filed against the various individuals included possession with intent to deliver and delivery of the following controlled substances: heroin, marijuana, bath salts, methamphetamine, cocaine and prescription narcotics.

Among those who participated in the drug sweep included state police Troop P, Troop F, Troop R, PSP/BESCO, PSP/Fugitive Task Force, the United States Marshal's Service, the Bradford County Sheriff's Department, Athens Township Police Department, Athens Borough Police Department, Sayre Borough Police Department, and Towanda Borough Police Department.

The arrests, the report continued, were the result of the culmination of several on-going narcotics investigations. Including the sweep, according to police, were two sets of mother/daughter offenders.

All the suspects were arraigned on Tuesday in the various magisterial district courts located throughout Bradford County. According to court papers, among those charged were:

Jared Lee Brackbill, 29, of 4670 Bailey Corners, Troy. Brackbill has been charged with manufacture, deliver, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; criminal use of a communication facility; and possession of a controlled substance. Brackbill is accused of selling bath salts to a police informant in November 2012 in North Towanda Township. Brackbill was ordered incarcerated in lieu of $85,000 bail.

Gary Vernon Brown, 43, of 800 Shotgun Hollow Rd., Ulster, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver and delivery of a controlled substance or counterfeit substance; criminal use of a communication facility; possession of a controlled substance; and criminal solicitation to commit forgery. Brown is accused of selling bath salts to a police information in December 2012 in Burlington, as well as providing the informant with a counterfeit $20 bill. Brown has been incarcerated in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Gary Vernon Brown, 43, of 800 Shotgun Hollow Rd., Ulster, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver and deliver of a controlled or counterfeit substance; criminal conspiracy to deliver a controlled or counterfeit substance; and possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance. Brown is accused of selling bath salts to a police informant in January in Ulster Township. Brown has been ordered incarcerated in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Julie L. Falsey, 35, of RR 1, Box 2134, Monroeton, has been charged with criminal conspiracy/possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance or counterfeit controlled substance; possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance or counterfeit controlled substance; and possession of a controlled substance or counterfeit controlled substance. Falsey is accused of selling bath salts to a police informant in October 2012 in Franklin Township. Falsey was incarcerated in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Nicole Mae Decker, 24, of 14 N. Main St., Towanda, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver and delivery of a controlled substance or counterfeit substance; criminal conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance; criminal use of a communication facility; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Decker is accused of selling methamphetamine to a police informant in September 2012 in Towanda. Decker has been incarcerated in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Dustin Hunter Poulton, 22, of 4001 Sugar Cabin Rd., Rome, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver and delivery of a controlled or counterfeit substance; criminal conspiracy to deliver a controlled or counterfeit substance; and possession of a controlled substance. Poulton is accused of selling bath salts to a police informant in November 2012 in Sheshequin Township. Poulton was ordered incarcerated in lieu of $25,000 bail.
