Acting troupe to hold auditions
Tioga Acting Guild (TAG) will be holding auditions for its upcoming season of shows from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 19, in the Tioga Central Middle School auditorium. This will be a time for auditions as well as an informational meeting about TAG and its upcoming shows.
Any who are high school age and up are welcome. Even if you are not interested in auditioning, there is always a need for technical and behind the scenes support. If you have toyed with the idea of getting on the stage, TAG has a great opportunity for you in their next show with minimal commitment, no lines to memorize, and great fun.
The next show TAG is producing will take you back to the Golden Age of Radio. It will be Joe Landry's rendition of "It's a Wonderful Life, a Live Radio Play". The production will be two days only at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 16 at the Nichols Elementary school.
The event will be a live performance and free dessert for $10. Tickets can be reserved by calling (607) 565-9849.
