The Agriculture Coalition of Bradford County is holding the first of its regular conferences and forums from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 27 at the Wysox Fire Hall.

This event will promote and highlight progress toward sustaining and building the area's agriculture. The event will be kicked off by keynote speaker, Shelly Dehoff, relaying how the Lancaster Blue Ribbon Commission has pursued a similar effort. Jeff Himes of Penn State Extension will relay "lessons learned and ground gained" based on related efforts in Tioga County. Wrap up will include an organizational discussion to assure the effort continues to be productive and mutually worthwhile.

Everyone who eats or has an interest in seeing agriculture prosper in Bradford County is highly encouraged to attend and have their voice heard. Lunch will be provided with every donation of $10 or more.
