Font size: [A] [A] [A]

The congregation of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Alba welcomes the community to a Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 24.

The chancel choir will present the cantata "Hark, the Angels Sing" as part of the traditional candlelight service. The cantata retells the story of Jesus' birth from the angels' perspective.

Narrators Lois Myers and Tricia Hojnowski play the part of the angels. Other featured soloists include Tom Hojnowski as Gabriel; Cindy Fitzwater as Mary; and Fred Seeley, as the town crier. In addition to the cantata, special music will be presented by the youth and brass choirs.

All are invited to join us as we gather for a meaningful time of cradle-side worship through music, communion and scripture. The First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Alba is located on Route 14, five miles south of Troy, Pa. For more information, please contact Pastor Charlotte Morse at (570) 297-4051.
