Broome Community College (BCC) will expand its fall course offering in Tioga County by offering courses in Waverly, in addition to its established satellite site in Owego.

The new Waverly satellite center is located at the Chemung Elementary School on 71 North St. in Chemung, N.Y.

Eleven courses ranging from standard General Education courses in College Writing, History, Social Sciences, Mathematics and Biology will be offered. In addition, students can take introductory courses in the Health Sciences, Criminal Justice and Business Law.

The college will also offer eight courses in Owego at the Owego Middle School located a 3 Sheldon Guile Blvd., Owego. College Writing, History and Social Science courses will be available. In addition, students can take Calculus I, Effective Speaking, Meteorology and a specialty course in Human Services.

Courses will run at both satellite sites between Aug. 27 and Dec. 17, and will be offered mid afternoon and evening, Monday through Thursday. Students can enroll at the college during "Central Registration Week" (Aug. 20-24).
