Chamber announces top three nominees for Business Person of the Year
The Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce (GVCC) has announced the top three nominees for 2009 Business Person of the Year. They are, in alphabetical order, Don Howard, Howie's Pizza & Subs; Sharon Lowery, Lowery's Life Appreciation Center LLC, Lowery's Safe Weight Loss and Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home; and Vickee Mike, The Morning Times.
These nominees earned the top three spots from voting done by GVCC's membership over the past month. Additional nominees submitted were Marilyn Bok, Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers; George Howell, Chemite and Cathy Sitzman, Guthrie Healthcare System.
The winner will be announced at the 14th Annual United Valley Business Banquet. This year's banquet will be held on March 24th at the Best Western Grand Victorian Inn. The banquet registration deadline is Wednesday, March 17.
