Endless Supplies will be hosting its grand opening from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday at the old Whipple's Building Materials store on Route 6 in Wysox.
According to co-owner Melissa Vanderpool, the "Easter Extravaganza" festivities will include free hot dogs, a petting zoo, and tours of the new store. Wysox based radio station KZFM will also be on hand from noon until 2 p.m. broadcasting live coverage to listeners.
The Easter Bunny will also be in attendance to entertain and get pictures with children.
Vanderpool co-owns the business along with her husband, Dale.
The new business is an independently run company which sells live pets, pet supplies, trailer supplies, nuts and bolts, fencing, bait, and bird seed. A full line of Poulin brand animal feed will be available at the store as well.
"We sell all the farming supplies that anyone in the area would need," Vanderpool explained.
Vanderpool also noted recent renovations to the building over the past month involving a complete overhaul of the interior of the store. The new counter tops, flooring, and shelving will be displayed for all to see at the grand opening.
Vanderpool said the purchase of the building was finalized in February and no time was spared getting the location ready for operation.
"We've been running night and day for the past three weeks trying to get the store ready. There have been a lot of days which ended at two or three in the morning," Vanderpool said.
She encouraged anyone who is interested in the business to come and check it out this coming Saturday at the grand opening.
