First Citizens National Bank announces employees of the year

First Citizens National Bank, headquartered in Mansfield, honored its 2009 Employees of the Year during a recent in-service day. Honored were Corey Dean, network administrator in the Mansfield Operations Center, and Kevin Green, Mansfield Community Office manager.

Employees receiving this award must show a consistent amount of dedication, professional attitude, and concern for the customer and their fellow employees. Both Dean and Green have surpassed the expectations of this prestigious award.

Dean joined First Citizens National Bank in 1999 as a network administrator. He specializes in e-mail administration, telecommunications and information security - areas vital to the efficient operation of the bank. Dean excels at trouble-shooting network and communications issues. In addition, his drive to stay current with the technologies that impact his area has played a crucial role in the bank's expansion efforts. Dean lives in Wellsboro with his wife Amy, son Jarret, and daughter Isabella.

In October 2006, Green joined First Citizens as manger of the Mansfield Community Office. He plays a significant role in the office's consumer and commercial business development efforts. Green knows the Mansfield community and is involved in many organizations focused on its welfare. This knowledge and involvement has allowed him to successfully identify opportunities for First Citizens to contribute to the financial success of consumers and small businesses in the Mansfield market. In 2010, Green will complete his third and final year of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Advanced School of Banking. He is treasurer of the Mansfield Little League, active in the Mansfield Kiwanis Club, and is the director and secretary of the Betterment Organization of Mansfield (B.O.O.M). Green and his wife Rachel reside in Mansfield with their sons, Jacob and Andrew.
