MANSFIELD - Randall E. Black, CEO and president, has announced the promotion of Jeff Carr to the newly-created position of SVP, Chief Retail Banking Officer, in which he will be responsible for the overall financial performance and effective management of all the community offices.
Jeff joined First Citizens in September 2001 as Towanda Office Manager. Under his management, the office grew deposits by 136%, and loans by 679%. Because of his outstanding dedication and concern for his customers and fellow employees, Jeff was named Employee of the Year for 2002. Three years later, he was promoted to the position of East Regional Manager, where he became responsible for the performance of First Citizens' Bradford County offices.
Jeff's years of banking and business development experience, combined with his unparalleled commitment to create and sustain a strong sales and service culture will ensure that the bank's community offices provide the highest quality financial services to its customers and total shareholder return to its shareholders.
Jeff earned a B.A. in mass communications from Kings College, and is a graduate of both the PBA School of Commercial Lending, and the Stonier School of Executive Bank Management. He serves as president of the Northern Tier Chapter of PIAA Basketball Coaches, and was a member of the Keystone Theatre's 125th Year Celebration committee. Previously, he served as president of the Bradford County YMCA and as the fundraising chair for the Central Bradford United Way. He resides in Stevensville with his wife, Sarah, and his four children, Ryan, Christian, Jessica and Luke.
