Richard Jennings to enter private practice
Richard Jennings has announced that he is entering the private practice of law. He is the practicing attorney in the Jennings Law Office located in Athens.
Jennings will engage in the general practice of law, to include personal injury, automobile accidents, family law, criminal law, DUI, civil and business litigation, corporations, real estate, estate administration, bankruptcy, workers compensation, social security, unemployment and wills and trusts. He is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania state courts, the United States Middle District of Pennsylvania court and the United States Northern District of New York court.
Jennings was an attorney with the law firm of Griffin, Dawsey, DePaola and Jones, P.C. in Towanda from February 2007 to September 2012. He previously was an attorney at the law firm of Richard A. Wilson and Associates, P.C. in Wyalusing and the law firm of Landy and Landy in Sayre. He served in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas as a law clerk.
Jennings earned a Juris Doctorate in 1999 from the University of North Dakota School of Law, where he was named to the National Dean's List (22nd Edition). He completed graduate studies with a 4.0 GPA in human resource management at Chapman University, Orange, California, and undergraduate studies in journalism and government at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
Jennings previously was a news editor for The Daily/Sunday Review in Towanda and served in the United States Navy.
