CFA Approves Funding liquified natural gas production in Ridgebury Twp.
HARRISBURG - State Senator Gene Yaw announced Thursday that several local grant and loan requests have been approved by the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) in the 23rd District, including a $2.3 million loan that a company in Ridgebury Township that would produce liquified natural gas (LNG).
As part of the current round of funding initiatives, $5.327 million in grants, and a $2.3 million loan, has been approved for the 23rd District, accodring to a press releae that Yaw issued on Thursday.
"It is critical that we provide the funding necessary for our municipal governments to make fundamental repairs and upgrades to existing infrastructure," Yaw said. "I applaud all the applicants and local officials on receiving these important state investments."
The CFA approved a $2.3 million Alternative and Clean Energy Program Loan to REV LNG, LLC for the purchase of micro LNG production plant equipment located in Ridgebury Township, the press release said. The company is planning to produce their own LNG in addition to hauling LNG for other producers.
