The Pennsylvania State Police will be conducting a child passenger safety seat check between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21 at the state police barracks along U.S. Route 6 in North Towanda Township.
This check is being held in conjunction with the "Click It or Ticket" campaign, which runs from Nov. 19 to Dec. 2.
During the check, a certified passenger safety technician will provide parents and caregivers education regarding the proper use and installation of child safety seats and will ensure child safety seats are properly installed.
Parents and caregivers should bring the car seat along with the owner's manual with them to the event.
It is recommended that parents and caregivers who wish to attend the event call ahead to the state police at Towanda at (570) 265-2186 to schedule an appointment to minimize wait time.
