From the office of Bradford County District Attorney Daniel Barrett:

Lloyd Jacob Bailey, 24, of Canton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to criminal trespass, a felony third degree, simple assault, misdemeanor of the second degree, and public drunkenness, a summary. Bailey will be sentenced on Jan. 4, 2010, following preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Bailey faces a maximum sentence of up to nine years plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court.

Officer Brian Wibirt of Canton Borough arrested Bailey for the offenses in April 25, 2009, following investigation of Bailey entering a private home in Canton, Pa. Bailey also menaced three minor females. The public drunkenness charge was based on conduct while under the influence of certain mushrooms and alcohol.

Jay Carnrike, 47, of Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to resisting arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree, and disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Carnrike will be sentenced on Jan. 4, 2010, following preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Carnrike faces a maximum sentence of up to three years plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court.

Officer Jeremy Horton of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Carnrike for the offenses in July following investigation of a fight on East Lockhart Street in Sayre Borough. Carnrike's plea was a no contest plea, which has the same consequences as a guilty plea, but is entered when the defendant cannot recall the event.
