Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas and were sentenced in Bradford County Magisterial District Courts:

David P. Daff, 64, Wyalusing, Pa., entered pleas of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to driving on the wrong side of the road; littering; careless driving; possession of an alcoholic beverage while driving; and hit and run, each a summary offense. As sentence upon the offenses Daff was ordered to pay fines totaling $613.50, and court costs. Trooper George Layou of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Daff for the offenses in December 2011 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Herrick Township.

Virgil W. Small, 25, Gipsy, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to False Identification to Law Enforcement Authorities, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to pay a fine of $1500 and court costs. Corporal Norman Strauss, III, of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Small for the offense in December 2011 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Pike Township.

Paul Crispell, 18, Gillett Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox to Access Device Fraud, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to pay a fine, restitution in the amount of $166.01, and court costs. Trooper Brandon Allis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Crispell for the offense in November 2011 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wells Township.

Heather Lines, 21, Towanda, Pa., pled guilty before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox to Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to pay a fine of $500.00 and court costs. Trooper Norman Strauss, III, of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Lines for the offense in December 2011 following investigation of an incident that occurred in West Burlington Township.

Jon J. Ace 47, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Clark to possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to pay a fine and court costs.

Deputy James Hart of the Bradford County Sheriff's Department arrested Ace for the offense in December 2011.

Eric L. Button, 23, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to pay a fine of $500 and court costs.

Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Button for the offense in June 2010 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.

Marvin Rice, 35, Carbondale, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Jonathan Wilcox of harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to pay a fine and court costs. Trooper Thad Warnick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Rice for the offense in August 2011 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Columbia Township.

Duke Russell, 24, Canton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to Disorderly Conduct, a summary offense, and was sentenced to pay a fine of $250 and court costs. Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Russell for the offense in November 2011 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Steven Donovan, 37, Rome, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term of eight days and payment of court costs. Trooper David Pelachick of Pennsylvania State Police arrested Donovan for the offense in December 2011 following investigation of an incident that occurred in north Towanda Township.

David Watkins, 22, Wyalusing, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial Judge Michael Shaw to Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and Public Drunkenness, a summary offense, and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a total term of 60 days, a fine of $600, and court costs; the portion of the sentence ordering imprisonment was suspended. Officer Derek Dekar of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Watkins for the offenses in August 2010.

Eldioqinis Campusano, 27, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to pay a fine of $100 and court costs. Officer Josh Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Campusano for the offense in January 2012.

Jonathan Cummings, 22, Columbia Crossroads, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to Receiving Stolen Property, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term of five days, a fine of $300, payment of restitution in the amount of $600, and court costs. Officer Timothy Cahill of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Cummings for the offense in August 2011.

Chad Soper, 27, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to Harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term of 35 days plus court costs. Officer Derek Dekar of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Soper for the offense in January 2012.

Jonathan Hicks, 24, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to Theft By Unlawful Taking and Receiving Stolen Property, each a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term of 30 days plus court costs. Officer Roger Clink of the Athens Township Police Department and Officer Timothy Cahill of the Athens Borough police Department arrested Hicks for the offenses in February and March 2011, respectively.

Desiree N. Daff, 29, Laceyville, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to pay a fine of $250 and court costs.

An Agent of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Daff for the offense in November 2011 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Tuscarora Township.

Dahn Breese, 38, Gillett, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox to Harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to pay a fine of $300 and court costs. Trooper Thad Warnick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Breese for the offense in October 2011 following investigation of an incident that occurred in South Creek Township.

John B. Garino, 23, Gillett, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Jonathon Wilcox to Harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to pay a fine of $300.00 and court costs. Trooper Thad Warnick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Garino for the offense in October 2011 following investigation of an incident that occurred in South Creek Township.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following person was recently found guilty after criminal trial in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Becky Jo Decker, 52, Milan, Pa., appeared before President Judge Jeffrey A. Smith for criminal non-jury trial on January 10, 2012, and was found guilty of Obstructing the Administration of Law or other Governmental Function, a misdemeanor of the second degree, and Defiant Trespass, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Decker will be sentenced on Feb. 16, 2012 at 1 p.m. the Bradford County Probation Department was ordered to prepare a presentence report, including victim impact statements, in anticipation of sentencing at that time. At sentencing, Decker faces imprisonment of up to three years plus fines, costs, restitution, and any other condition(s) deemed appropriate by the sentencing Court. Officer Richard Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Decker for the offenses upon which she was convicted at the residence on Wilawana Road where they occurred; officers from the Sayre Borough Police Department assisted Horton at the scene. Decker was taken into custody and charged after she appeared at the residence and interfered with a criminal investigation being conducted by Officer Horton.
