Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett, announced the following person was sentenced:
Marc Petrucci, 24, Towanda, was sentenced to State Intermediate Punishment for 24 months, and a total fine of $1,500, for Escape, a felony of the third degree; Theft By Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree; Forgery, a misdemeanor of the first degree; Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree; and Theft By Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the third degree. The sentence was imposed following earlier guilty pleas.
Troopers Piekanski, Sweeney, Lopez and Warnick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Petrucci for the offenses in April, June, and August 2009 following incidents that occurred in Burlington Borough, Burlington Township and Granville Township. Petrucci may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, he will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.
Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett, announced that the following persons entered guilty pleas in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:
Levi Eugene Bridges, 31, of Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Bridges will be sentenced on March 4, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Bridges faces a maximum sentence of up to six months plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 12 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Trooper Wayne Dunkling of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bridges for the offense in July 2009 following investigation of a traffic violation that occurred in Towanda Borough.
Joshua Kreamer, 25, of Williamsport, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to retail theft, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Kreamer will be sentenced on March 4, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Kreamer faces a maximum sentence of up to 24 months, plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Trooper Joseph Longmore of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kreamer for the offense in May 2009 following investigation of a theft at the Wysox General Store in Wysox Township.
Dennis Sturdevant, 34, of Plymouth, N.C., entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Sturdevant will be sentenced on March 4, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Sturdevant faces a maximum sentence of up to six months, plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 12 months for refusing blood alcohol testing, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer David Lantz of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Sturdevant for the offense in September 2009 following investigation of a traffic violation that occurred in Towanda Borough.
Gabriel Spencer, 34, of Columbia Cross Roads, Pa., entered pleas of guilty to possession of precursors of methamphetamine manufacture, a felony of the third degree, and possession of methamphetamine, a misdemeanor. Spencer will be sentenced on March 4, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Spencer faces a maximum sentence of up to eight years, plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. An agent of the Pennsylvania State Police Narcotics Unit arrested Spencer for the offense in January 2006 following investigation of incidents that occurred in Towanda Township.
John R. Shaw, 24, of Troy, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to flight to avoid apprehension, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Shaw will be sentenced on March 4, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Shaw faces a maximum sentence of up to 24 months, plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Shaw for the offense in August 2009 following an incident in Wyalusing Borough.
Amanda Robbins, 25, of Milan, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Robbins will be sentenced on March 4, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Robbins faces a maximum sentence of up to one year, plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer Bethany Altieri of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Robbins for the offense in June 2009 following investigation of an incident at the Candelite Inn in Athens Borough.
Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that charges filed against the following person were withdrawn in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:
All criminal counts filed against Patrick Goodrich, 52, of Towanda, Pa., were withdrawn due to Goodrich's incapacity to be tried. Trooper Thad Warnick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Goodrich for the offense of assault following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township in May 2008.
Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following person was acquitted of criminal charges by a Bradford County jury after criminal trial in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:
Felicia O'Conner, 24, Mildred, Pa., was found not guilty of Attempt to Deliver a Controlled Substance and Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance, each a felony. The offenses were alleged to have occurred in July 2009 in Wyalusing Borough. Stephen Burgess, of Wyalusing, who was charged as a co-actor with O'Conner, plead guilty to related offenses in September 2009 and he is scheduled for sentencing on Feb. 16, 2010. O'Conner maintained at trial that, at the time of the alleged offenses, she was unaware of any plans that Burgess had to purchase or deliver a controlled substance. Charges were filed against O'Conner and Burgess by agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit.
Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:
Kristen M. Smith, 24, Sayre, was resentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from three months to 18 months, and a fine of $500, for retail theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Smith was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $697. The sentence was imposed following an earlier guilty plea to the offense. Officer Richard Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Smith for the offense in February 2007. Smith may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, she will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation Department. Smith was originally placed in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) Program, and later on Probation, for the offense, but her participation in both programs was terminated by the court because of violation of program conditions.
David M. Stage, 29, Elmira, N.Y., was sentenced to a total term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from two years to 10 years, and a total fine of $2000, for two counts of indecent assault, each a felony of the third degree. The sentence was imposed following earlier guilty pleas to the offenses of two counts of Indecent Assault, each a Felony of the third degree. Trooper Nathan Lewis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Stage for the offenses in February 2009 after an incident in Wells Township. Stage may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, he will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.
David L. Rose, 46, Waverly, N.Y., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 100 days to 18 months, and a fine of $1500, for driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Rose will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 18 months. The sentence was imposed following an earlier guilty plea. Sergeant Daniel Reynolds of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Rose for the offense in August 2009. Rose may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, he will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation Department.
Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were placed in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) Program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:
Christopher M. Watkins, 24, Canton, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in November 2009, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation under the supervision of the Bradford County Probation Department for a term of nine months. While in the ARD Program, Watkins must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Trooper Wayne Dunkling of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Watkins for the offense following investigation of a motor vehicle crash that occurred in Canton Township.
Joshua S. Henrie, 20, Wilkes Barre, charged with controlled substance-related offenses in September 2009, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation under the supervision of the Bradford County Probation Department for a term of 12 months. While in the ARD Program, Henrie must perform community service. Trooper Steven Scoble of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Henrie for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough.
Thomas C. Lambert, 56, Ulster, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in September 2009, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on Probation under the supervision of the Bradford County Probation Department for a term of 12 months. While in the ARD Program, Lambert must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days.
Trooper Michael Beirne, Sr., of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Lambert for the offense following investigation of a motor vehicle crash that occurred in Ulster Township.
Brenda D. Holland, 53, Canton, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in October 2009, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on Probation under the supervision of the Bradford County Probation Department for a term of nine months. While in the ARD Program, Holland must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; she will also lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Brian Wibirt of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Holland for the offense following investigation of a motor vehicle crash that occurred in Canton Borough.

Joshua D. Thomas, 25, Cresson, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor of the first degree, and was sentenced to pay a fine of $250. Trooper David Pelachick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Thomas for the offense in July 2009 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ridgebury Township.
John J. Kraus, 44, Sayre, entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor, and was immediately sentenced to imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from 45 days to six months, and a fine of $1000. Trooper Wayne Dunkling of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kraus for the offense in October 2009 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Sayre Borough. Kraus may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, he will be under the supervision of the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.

David Vroman, 38, Trout Run, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree, and driving under suspension, a summary offense. Vroman will be sentenced on March 29, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Vroman faces a maximum sentence of up to five years and 90 days, plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 30 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer Brian Wibirt of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Vroman for the offense in August 2009.
Devin L. Sparkman, 24, Mansfield, entered a plea of guilty to resisting arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Sparkman will be sentenced on March 29, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Sparkman faces a maximum sentence of up to two years, plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Trooper Benjamin Bigus of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Sparkman for the offense in October 2009 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Sylvania Borough.
Noel Schad, 41, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor.
Schad will be sentenced on March 29, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Schad faces a maximum sentence of up to six months, plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 12 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer Randy Epler of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Schad for the offense in August 2009 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough.
Shawn R. Owen, 43, New Albany, entered a plea of guilty to criminal trespass, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and harassment, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Owen will be sentenced on March 29, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Owen faces a maximum sentence of up to two years, plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer Donald Stringham of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Owen for the offense in October 2009 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Canton Borough.
Jason A. Larsen, 29, Rome, entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor.
Larsen will be sentenced on March 29, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Larsen faces a maximum sentence of up to six months, plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 12 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Corporal Albert Odgen, III, of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Larsen for the offense in September 2007 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township.
Ira R. McCartney, 30, Gillett, entered a plea of guilty to Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor, Hit and Run (attended property), a misdemeanor of the third degree. McCartney will be sentenced on March 29, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, McCartney faces a maximum sentence of up to one year and six months, plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 18 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Dighton A. Lane, 81, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor.
Lane will be sentenced on March 18, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Lane faces a maximum sentence of up to six months plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 18 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Trooper Joseph Mitchell of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Lane for the offense in August 2009 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Monroe Township.
Shawn M. Miller, 23, Bradford County Correctional Facility, Troy, entered a plea of guilty to obstruction of administration of law or other governmental function, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Miller will be sentenced on March 29, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Miller faces a maximum sentence of up to two years, plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Trooper Robert McKee of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Miller for the offense in September 2009 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Springfield Township.
Jeffrey Mazonis, 36, Sayre, entered a plea of guilty to access device fraud, a misdemeanor of the first degree.
Mazonis will be sentenced on March 18, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Mazonis faces a maximum sentence of up to five years, plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer Daniel Thomas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Mazonis for the offense in August 2009.

At sentencing, Dastalfo faces a maximum sentence of up to five years plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other condition deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer Brain Wibirt of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Dastalfo for the offense in June 30, 2009, following investigation of an indecent exposure that occurred in Canton Borough.
