Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, on May 19:

Edward D. McGhee, 40, Harriman, Tenn., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 64 days to 23 months, 29 days, and a fine of $500, for theft by unlawful taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree. McGhee was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $12,530. The sentence was imposed following the revocation of McGhee's original sentence of probation for violation of probation conditions. Trooper Joseph Mitchell of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested McGhee for the offense in September 2009 after an incident in Canton Borough. McGhee may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, he will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Jerry Brees, 32, Gillett, Pa. was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 45 days to 12 months followed by probation for a term of 9 months, and a total fine of $750, for criminal trespass, a felony of the third degree, and theft by deception, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Brees was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $300. The sentences were imposed following earlier guilty pleas. Trooper Miranda Musick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Brees for the offense in December 2010 after an incident in Springfield Township. Breese may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, and while on probation, he will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Trevor T. Bennett, 25, Sayre, Pa. was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 20 months to 40 months for involuntary manslaughter, a misdemeanor of the first degree, and from one month to six months for driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Additionally, Bennett was ordered to pay fines in the total amount of $500 and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 12 months. The sentence was imposed following earlier guilty pleas. Trooper Deana Beard of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bennett for the offense in February 2006 after investigation of a fatal motor vehicle crash in Sayre Borough. Bennett was originally sentenced in July 2007 and was subsequently released on parole; however, his parole was later revoked for violation of parole conditions. Bennett will receive credit for 430 days time already served for the offense, including time originally served and time served following parole revocation; he will be eligible to apply for parole by November 2020.

Lisamarie Brassfield, 28, Rome, Pa. was sentenced to probation for a term of 12 months, and a fine of $250, for possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Brassfield was also ordered to reimburse the Commonwealth in the amount of $120.00 for money used by law enforcement officers to purchase controlled substance during the event that led to Brassfield's arrest. The sentence was imposed following an earlier guilty plea. An agent of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Brassfield for the offense in August 2010 after an incident in Ulster Township. While on probation, Brassfield will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Teresa G. Hiller, 29, Towanda, Pa. was sentenced to probation for a term of 12 months, and a fine of $250, for hindering apprehension, a misdemeanor of the second degree. The sentence was imposed following an earlier guilty plea. Trooper Nathan Lewis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Hiller for the offense in August 2010 after an incident in Columbia Township. While on probation, Hiller will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.

Hannah L. Lilley, 25, Lawrenceville, Pa. was sentenced to probation for a term of 15 months, and a fine of $300, for access device fraud, a felony of the third degree. The sentence was imposed following an earlier guilty plea. Officer Derrick Kelley of the Towanda Borough Police department arrested Lilley for the offense in October 2010. While on probation, Lilley will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Christopher L. Heinze, 20, New Albany, Pa. was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a total term of from two months to 18 months, and total fine of $750, for corruption of minors, a misdemeanor of the first degree, and indecent assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. The sentences were imposed following earlier guilty pleas. Officer David Lantz of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Heinze for the offense in November 2010. Heinze may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, he will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Danielle E. Moe, 23, Towanda, Pa. was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from one day to 18 months for obstruction of administration of law or other governmental function, a misdemeanor of the second degree. The sentence was imposed following the revocation of Moe's original sentence of probation for violation of probation conditions. Trooper Andrew Burian of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Moe for the offense in May 2009 following an incident in West Burlington Township. Moe may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence and, if paroled, she will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Jerry Chilson, 37, Canton, Pa. was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from four months to 12 months, and a fine of $1000, possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. The sentence was imposed following the revocation of Chilson's original sentence of probation for violation of probation conditions. Officer Trent Wright of the Canton borough Police Department arrested Chilson for the offense in August 2010. Chilson may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, he will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Gerald E. Saxon, 57, Owego, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Saxon will be sentenced on June 30, 2011, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Saxon faces a maximum sentence of up to five years plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 18 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer Cory Williams of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Saxon for the offense in September 2010.

Matthew B. Chilson, 22, Monroeton, Pa. entered a plea of guilty to two counts of arson, each a felony of the second degree. Chilson will be sentenced on July 7, 2011, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Chilson faces a maximum sentence of up to 20 years plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Trooper Timothy Young of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Chilson for the offenses in March 2011 following investigation of incidents that occurred in Franklin and Burlington Townships.

Tyrone Garnett, 19, Towanda, Pa. entered pleas of guilty to robbery, a felony of the third degree; simple assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree; unlawful restraint, a misdemeanor of the first degree; and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Garnett will be sentenced on July 7, 2011, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Garnett faces a maximum sentence of up to 16 years plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Trooper Norman Strauss of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Garnett for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in North Towanda Township.

Brandon C. Brown, 23, New Albany, Pa. entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Brown will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Brown faces a maximum sentence of up to six months plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 12 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Trooper Wayne Dunkling of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Brown for the offense in September 2010 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Terry Township.

Roger Adams, 49, Andrews, N.C., entered pleas of guilty to disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and public drunkenness, a summary offense. Adams will be sentenced on June 30, 2011, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Adams faces a maximum sentence of up to one year and 90 days plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Corporal Roger Stipcak of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Adams for the offense in March 2011, following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.

Dusty S. Adams, 31, Marble, N.C., entered a plea of guilty to disorderly conduct, misdemeanor of the third degree. Adams will be sentenced on June 30, 2011, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Adams faces a maximum sentence of up to one year plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer David Lantz of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Adams for the offense in March 2011.

Harvey A. Miller, Jr., 21, Columbia Crossroads, Pa. entered pleas of guilty to criminal trespass, a felony of the third degree, and theft by unlawful taking, misdemeanor of the first degree. Miller will be sentenced on June 30, 2011, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Miller faces a total maximum sentence of up to 12 years plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Corporal Michael Giantisco of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Miller for the offense in August 2010 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.

Paris S. Fulton-May, 23, Williamsport, Pa. entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Fulton-May will be sentenced on June 30, 2011, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Fulton-May faces a maximum sentence of up to six months plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 12 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Trooper Wayne Dunkling of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Fulton-May for the offense in October 2010 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Burlington Township.

Mark J. Fuller, 36, Burlington, Pa. entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Fuller will be sentenced on June 30, 2011, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Fuller faces a maximum sentence of up to five years plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 18 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Fuller for the offense in November 2010 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following people were placed in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) Program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, on May 19:

Christopher J. Brown, 24, Sayre, Pa. charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in December 2010, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Brown will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. While in the ARD Program, Brown must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Daniel Thomas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Brown for the DUI offense.

Stephen M. Seibert, 24, Farmingville, N.Y, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in February 2011, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Seibert will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. While in the ARD Program, Seibert must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Officer Daniel Thomas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Seibert for the DUI offense.

Sharon A. Roberti, 39, Elmira, N.Y. charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in January 2011, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Roberti will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. While in the ARD Program, Roberti must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Officer Bruce Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Roberti for the DUI offense.

Jessica Page, 24, Canton, Pa. charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Page will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Page must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel. Trooper Robert Franchella of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Page for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Canton Township.
