Bradford County District Attorney, Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following people plead guilty and were sentenced in Bradford County Magisterial District Court:

Jeffrey A. Fenton, 22, Monroeton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Timothy Clark to harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to imprisonment equal to time already served in the Bradford County Correctional Facility as of the date of sentencing, and court costs. Trooper Jaime Lopez of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Fenton for the offense in July 2010 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Franklin Township.

John D. McKean, 50, Wysox, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to reckless driving, a summary offense, and was sentenced to pay a fine of $200 plus court costs. McKean will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for six months. Officer Derrick Kelley of the Towanda Borough Police arrested McKean for the offense in June 2010.

Tahmir Hammond, 19, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to a term of imprisonment equal to the amount of time already served in the Bradford County Correctional Facility as of the date of sentencing, and court costs. Officer David Lantz of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Hammond for the offenses in July 2010.

James Mckean, 24, Sayre, Pa., plead guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and public drunkenness, a summary offense. McKean was sentenced to 90 days imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility with credit for seven days already served as of the date of sentencing and the balance of the sentence to be suspended. Sergeant Daniel Reynolds of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested McKean for the offenses in August 2004.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were found guilty and were sentenced after summary trial before the Honorable Maureen Beirne in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas on Aug. 16:

Lisa M. Winebarger, 43, Troy, Pa., was found guilty of driving while her Pennsylvania driving privilege was suspended, a summary offense. Winebarger was sentenced to a fine of $500 and court costs. Additionally, Winebarger's Pennsylvania driving privilege will be suspended for an additional year. Officer Floyd McDonald of the Troy Borough Police Department arrested Winebarger for the offense in March 2010.

Jay B. Parks, 53, Troy, Pa., was found guilty of driving while his Pennsylvania driving privilege was suspended, a summary offense. Parks was sentenced to a fine of $200 and court costs. Additionally, Parks' Pennsylvania driving privilege will be suspended for an additional year. Officer Floyd McDonald of the Troy Borough Police Department arrested Parks for the offense in March 2010.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pa., on Aug. 13 and 17:

William Sutton III, 27, Troy, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from three months to 12 months, and a fine of $300, for resisting arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree. The sentence was imposed following an earlier guilty plea. Bradford County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Sutton for the offense in August 2009. Sutton may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence and, if paroled, he will be subject to monitoring and supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Norman D. Derrig, 49, Athens, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term of 30 days for harassment, a summary offense. The sentence was imposed following a non-jury trial before the Honourable Maureen Beirne. Trooper David Pelachick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Derrig following investigation of a reported incident involving alleged indecent contact with a 15-year-old girl in Athens Borough. Athens Borough Police Officer Derek Dekar assisted in the investigation and testified at Derrig's non-jury trial.

Lucas J. McCoy, 22, Fayetteville, Ga., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from one month to 12 months, and a fine of $250, for retail theft, a misdemeanor of the second degree. The sentence was imposed following an earlier guilty plea. Trooper Bryan Fedor of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested McCoy for the offense in April 2010 after an incident in Canton Township. McCoy may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, he will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Dale A. Talada, 49, Sayre, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from one day to 90 days for harassment, a summary offense. The sentence was imposed following an earlier guilty plea. Officer Roger Clink of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Talada for the offense in February 2010.

Robert D. Hodge II, 20, Columbia Cross Roads, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from four days to six months, and a fine of $500, for driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Hodge will also lose his drivers license for 12 months. The sentence was imposed following an earlier guilty plea. Hodge was originally placed under supervision in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program for the offense but he was removed from the program for violation of program conditions. Sergeant James Shaw of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Hodge for the offense in June 2009 after an incident in Ridgebury Township. Hodge may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence and, if paroled, he will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Jeremy R. Rarrick, 30, Addison, N.Y., was sentenced to a total term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from one year and five months to eight years, and a total fine of $1,800, for statutory sexual assault, a felony of the second degree; corruption of minors, a misdemeanor of the first degree; and furnishing alcoholic beverage to a minor, a misdemeanor of the third degree. The sentence was imposed following earlier guilty pleas. Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police Department and Trooper David Pelachick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Rarrick for the offenses. Rarrick may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, he will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.

Tia-Jo Evans, 29, of Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from two months to 18 months, and a fine of $500, for simple assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Evans was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $8,838.55. The sentence was imposed following an earlier plea of nolo contendere (no contest). Trooper Scott Renfer of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Evans for the offense in February 2010 after an incident at the Redline Raceway in Granville Township. Evans may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, she will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation and Parole Department.

Aaron M. Tunnicliff, 20, Lockwood, N.Y., was sentenced to probation for a term of 12 months, and a fine of $300, for possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. The sentence was imposed following an earlier guilty plea. Trooper Franklin Harvey of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Tunnicliff for the offense in March 2010 after an incident in Smithfield Township. While on probation, Tunnicliff will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Steven M. Peters, 31, Sayre, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from three months to 12 months, probation for a term of one year, and a total fine of $500, for simple assault and resisting arrest, each a misdemeanor of the second degree. The sentences were imposed following earlier guilty pleas to the offenses of simple assault and resisting arrest, each a misdemeanor of the second degree. Sergeant Daniel Reynolds of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Peters for the offense in April 2010. Peters may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, and while on probation, he will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Terry L. Murray, 45, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 120 days to 18 months, and a fine of $1,500, for driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Murray will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 18 months and he will receive an additional license suspension of 12 months as a result of his refusal to submit to blood alcohol testing at the time of his arrest. The sentence was imposed following an earlier guilty plea to the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Murray for the offense in January 2010 after an incident in North Towanda Township. Murray may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, he will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation Department.

George J. Sindoni, 19, Waverly, N.Y., was sentenced to probation for a term of 18 months, and a fine of $300, for theft by unlawful taking, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Sindoni was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $39. The sentence was imposed following an earlier guilty plea. Sergeant Daniel Reynolds of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Sindoni for the offense in December 2009. While on probation, Sindoni will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Matthew T. Stiehl, 26, Sayre, Pa., was sentenced to probation for a term of 36 months, and a fine of $500, theft by unlawful taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Stiehl was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $3,770. The sentence was imposed following a guilty plea to the offense of theft by unlawful taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Trooper Nathan Lewis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Stiehl for the offense in September 2009 after an incident in Asylum Township. While on probation, Stiehl will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Joshua Kinner, 23, Towanda, Pa., was resentenced to a total term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from seven months to 24 months, and a total fine of $500, for multiple counts of disorderly conduct, each a misdemeanor of the third degree. The sentences were imposed following earlier guilty pleas. Kinner was originally sentenced to probation for the offenses but his probationary status was revoked due to violation of probation conditions. Bradford County Deputy Sheriff Harry Lamy and Trooper Jeffrey Vilello of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kinner for the offenses in 2008 after the incidents in Towanda Borough. Kinner may be eligible for parole after serving the minimum sentence, and, if paroled, he will be subject to supervision and monitoring by the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were placed in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program (ARD) in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pa., on Aug. 16:

Candy M. Wolfe, 34, Columbia Cross Roads, Pa., charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in March 2010, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation under the supervision of the Bradford County Probation Department for a term of nine months. While in the ARD Program, Wolfe must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; she will also lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper Wayne Dunkling of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Wolfe for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in North Towanda Township.

Debra Stettler, 46, Canton, Pa., charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in February 2010, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation under the supervision of the Bradford County Probation Department for a term of 12 months. While in the ARD Program, Stettler must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; she will also lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper Benjamin Bigus of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Stettler for the offense following investigation of an incident the occurred in Franklin Township.

Stephanie Jo Jordan, 32, Sayre, Pa., charged with retail theft in April 2010, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation under the supervision of the Bradford County Probation Department for a term of 12 months. While in the ARD Program Jordan must perform community service and pay restitution. Officer Daniel Thomas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Jordan for the offense.

Justin R. Graham, 20, Sayre, Pa., charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in January 2010, was accepted into the ARD program and placed on probation under the supervision of the Bradford County Probation Department for a term of 12 months. While in the ARD program, Graham must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Thomas VanFleet Jr. of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Graham for the offense.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons entered a plea of guilty in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pa., on Aug. 17:

Lisa M. Daniels-Perry, 41, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Daniels-Perry will be sentenced on Sept. 27, 2010 following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Daniels-Perry faces a maximum sentence of up to six months plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 12 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer Thomas VanFleet Jr. of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Daniels-Perry for the offense in January 2010.

Frank T. Durizch, 25, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to simple assault, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Durizch will be sentenced on Sept. 27, 2010 following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Durizch faces a maximum sentence of up to one year plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer Derek Watkins of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Durizch for the offense in June 2010.

John H. Blowers, 48, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Blowers will be sentenced on Sept. 27, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Blowers faces a maximum sentence of up to five years plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 18 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Blowers for the offense in April 2010 following investigation of a motor vehicle crash that occurred in Asylum Township.

Sean P. Mooney, 22, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver, a felony. Mooney will be sentenced on Sept. 16, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing Mooney faces a maximum sentence of up to 10 years plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least six months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. An Agent of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Mooney for the offense in January 2010 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Asylum Township.

Kreg Padilla, 22, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana, each a misdemeanor. Padilla will be sentenced on Sept. 16, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing Padilla faces a maximum sentence of up to one year and 90 days plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer Beth Altieri of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Padilla for the offenses in November 2008 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Athens Borough.

Roger Evans, 38, Rome, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol (third offense), a misdemeanor of the first degree. Evans will be sentenced on Sept. 16, 2010 following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Evans faces a maximum sentence of up to 60 months plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 18 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Evans for the offense in August 2009 following investigation of a traffic violation that occurred in LeRaysville Borough.

Karolyn Anderson, 19, Wyalusing, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, each a felony. Anderson will be sentenced on Aug. 17, 2010 following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing Anderson faces imprisonment plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 18 months and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. An agent of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Anderson for the offense in April 2010 following investigation of alleged heroin sales in Wyalusing and Tuscarora townships.

Eric C. Maynard, 34, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol (second offense), a misdemeanor of the first degree. Maynard will be sentenced on Sept. 16, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing Maynard faces a maximum sentence of up to 60 months plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 18 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer Randy Epler of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Maynard for the offense in March 2005 following investigation of a traffic violation that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Michael Lydon, 60, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Lyon will be sentenced on Sept. 16, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Lydon faces a maximum sentence of up to six months plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 12 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Trooper Bryan Fedor of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Lydon for the offense in February 2010 following investigation of a traffic violation that occurred in Burlington Township.

Dakotah G. Anthony, 23, Gillett, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Anthony will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing Anthony faces a maximum sentence of up to five years plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer Timothy Cahill of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Anthony for the offense in April 2010.

Lance A. Johnson, 26, Endicott, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to retail theft, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Johnson will be sentenced on Sept. 16, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Johnson faces a maximum sentence of up to two years plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer Rich Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Johnson for the offense in December 2009.

Jeremy M. Meyers, 23, Waverly, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to criminal trespass, a felony of the third degree. Myers will be sentenced on Sept. 16, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Meyers faces a maximum sentence of up to seven years plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officer Thomas J. VanFleet Jr. of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Meyers for the offense in April 2010.

Harold L. Kromelbein, 58, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, each a misdemeanor. Kromelbein will be sentenced on Sept. 16, 2010, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. At sentencing, Kromelbein faces a maximum sentence of up to 12 months plus fine(s), costs, restitution to victims, loss of Pennsylvania driving privilege for at least 24 months, and any other conditions deemed appropriate by the sentencing court. Officers Richard Horton and Thomas VanFleet Jr., respectively, of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Kromelbein for the offense in February and March 2010

District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following person appeared before the Honourable Maureen Beirne, Judge of the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, on Aug. 13, and was found guilty of indirect criminal contempt:

Bradley Battin, 60, of Dushore was found guilty of violating a protection from abuse order following a hearing on Aug. 13, 2010, and he was ordered to pay a fine of $500. Trooper Franklin Harvey of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Harvey for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in North Towanda Township.

District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas and were sentenced in Bradford County Magisterial District Courts:

Blaze D. Schrader, 19, Canton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Jonathon Wilcox to harassment, a summary offense, on Aug. 8, 2010, and was sentenced to pay a fine of $50 and court costs. Trooper Thad Warnick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Schrader for the offense in July 2010 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Canton Borough.

Kathy J. Hall, 44, Canton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox to issuing a bad check, a misdemeanor of the third degree, on Aug. 24, 2010, and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility equal to the number of days already served in confinement (14 days) plus restitution and costs, including constable fees, totaling approximately $800. The Bradford District Attorney's Office, through its agent Chief County Detective Gregory Hostettler, charged Hall with the offenses in 2004 after investigation of reports of bad checks having been being passed in Troy Borough.

Jesse T. Kline, 29, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to harassment, a misdemeanor of the third degree, on Aug. 16, 2010, and was sentenced to imprisonment of 45 days with credit for seven days already served with the balance of the sentence suspended for a term of one year. Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Kline for the offense in August 2010.

Tyler Williams, 19, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, on Aug. 18, 2010, and was sentenced to pay a fine and court costs. Officer Randy Epler of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Williams for the offense in May 2010.

Michelle S. Cole, 27, Monroeton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, on Aug. 18, 2010, and was sentenced to pay a fine and court costs. An agent of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Cole for the offense in July 2010 following investigation of an incident that occurred in Monroe Borough.
