Vehicle stolen in Sheshequin

A 36-year-old Sheshequin Township man reported that his maroon Dodge Dakota was recently stolen from his residence, police said.

The theft occurred sometime between Nov. 10 and Nov. 13 along Water Road, state police said.

The state police said they are following multiple leads, but anyone with additional leads is asked to contact the state police at Towanda at (570) 265-2186.

Woman injured

State police at Laporte said Joanne Yingling, 63, of Muncy Valley, suffered minor injuries in an accident at 1:45 p.m. Nov. 11 on Whiskey Run Road in Davidson Township, Sullivan County.

Police said she was negotiating a right hand curve and lost control of her vehicle, which went into a mud/grass area off the road. She tried to drive the vehicle out of the muddy area, but could not and traveled down into a small brook. After crossing the brook, she struck a tree stump and came to rest, police said. She was taken to Laporte Medical Center for minor injuries to her wrist and neck. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
