Theft occurs in Dushore
Sonya Bligh, 60, of Dushore reported that someone recently stole the expiration tab off her license plate, police said.
The theft occurred sometime in January when Bligh's vehicle was parked along German Street in Dushore, according to the state police at Laporte.
Towanda man accused of being hit-and-run driver
Steven R. Potter, 41, of Towanda has been charged with DUI after the Dodge Neon he was driving struck a parked vehicle on Charles Street in Towanda Borough, police said.
Both vehicles were significantly damaged in the crash, which occurred at 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 16, 459 feet north of Bridge Street, state police said.
In addition to DUI, Potter faces charges for being a hit-and-run driver in this accident, police said.
Potter was uninjured in the crash, state police at Towanda said.
Vehicle travels through fence in South Creek Twp.
State police reported that a motor vehicle accident occurred recently in South Creek Township in which a driver lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions on a right-hand curve on Thompson Hill Road.
The vehicle slid into a bridge, glanced off the bridge, glanced off a utility pole and traveled through a wooden fence, state police at Towanda said.
The accident occurred at 5:48 a.m. on Jan. 26, 361 feet east of state Route 14, police said.
In a press release about the accident, state police did not say who the driver was, or if he or she was hurt.
Towanda man cited for harassment
Robert L. Czajkowski, 45, of Towanda is accused of pushing 45-year-old Maggie Czajkowski to the ground while they were arguing, police said.
The incident occurred at 6:25 a.m. on Jan. 24 in the front yard of the Czajkowski residence in Standing Stone Township, police said.
As a result of this incident, Robert Czajkowski has been cited for harassment, according to the state police at Towanda.
Possible attempted theft reported in Laporte
State police said they suspect that three juveniles were trying to steal something from a vehicle that was parked at the Highlands in Laporte.
The vehicle is owned by Angleia Sheets of Muncy Valley, police said.
The three juveniles were seen in the area of the vehicle, apparently trying to enter the vehicle, state police said.
The incident occurred at 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 23, police said.
