Crash occurs in Wysox Twp.
Jack T. Maloney-Williams, 18, of Towanda suffered a minor injury in a recent motor vehicle accident on U.S. Route 6 in Wysox Township, police said.
A 1996 Oldsmobile Bravada operated by Maloney-Williams "drifted into the oncoming westbound lane" and struck a vehicle operated by 59-year-old Michael L. Rogers of Rome, police said.
Rogers was uninjured in the crash, which occurred at 6:15 a.m. Thursday, 82 feet west of Leisure Drive, state police at Towanda said.
Fight occurs in Burlington Twp.
Heather Dyke, 21, of Towanda and Alicia Vanderpool, 21 of Monroeton were recently involved in a physical altercation, police said.
As a result, both Dyke and Vanderpool were cited for harassment, state police said.
The incident occurred on March 6 on McNeal Road in Burlington Township, state police at Towanda said.
Pot incident occurs in Laporte
A juvenile from Bloomsburg, Pa., was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. Route 220 and state Route 42 in Laporte Township, police said.
The incident occurred at 6:45 p.m. Friday, state police at Laporte said.
Vehicle rolls onto side in Monroe
Renzi Cong, 48, of Belle Mead, N.J., suffered a minor injury recently in a motor vehicle accident in Monroe Township, police said.
Cong was driving a 2008 Toyota Yaris north on U.S. Route 220 when he swerved into an embankment off the northbound berm, police said. Cong's vehicle then rolled onto its side, state police at Towanda said.
Cong was cited for driving at an unsafe speed in connection with the accident, which occurred at 7 p.m. Friday, 30 feet north of Kellogg Road, police said.
Man faces misdemeanor charge in Bradford County
Richard Allen King, 28, of Cherokee, N.C., has been charged with the second-degree misdemeanor of default in required appearance, according to the Bradford County District Attorney's Office.
On March 24, 2008, King failed to appear before Bradford County Court Judge Jeffrey Smith for sentencing in a criminal case, according to the district attorney's office. King was to be sentenced on that date on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, and reckless driving, according to court records.
King was living at 133 Third St. in Sayre in 2005, when the original incident occurred, court records show.
King was arraigned by Towanda Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on Friday. King was then sent to the Bradford County jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
King, who lives on Big Cove Road in Cherokee, N.C., must appear before Clark for a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.
