Driver not injured in crash

No injuries were reported when a pickup truck went off U.S. Route 220 in Cherry Township, Sullivan County, and struck a utility pole.

According to state police, Sean M. Cantu, 26, of Bradford, Pa., was driving a 2006 Ford F-150 north on Route 220 around 2:05 p.m. on Feb. 25 when he lost control of his vehicle on a right curve. Police said the vehicle traveled across the southbound lane, left the road, and struck a utility pole.

Police said that Cantu will be cited for traveling too fast for road conditions.

Juvenile cited for disorderly conduct

A 15-year-old male from Wyalusing was cited by state police recently for disorderly conduct.

Police reported that the male was also cited for underage drinking, following an incident on Feb. 25 at the Dandy Mini Mart in Wyalusing.

Man jailed on assault charge

A Dushore man was ordered incarcerated in Wyoming County jail following a domestic dispute in Sullivan County.

According to state police at Laporte, the man, who was listed as 27 years of age, but whose identity was otherwise not released, was taken into custody on charges of simple assault and harassment. The man is accused of striking and injuring a 24-year-old Dushore woman on Feb. 26, injuring her in the process. Police said the woman has been accused of striking the man during the dispute, and will be charged with harassment as a result.

Theft of gasoline reported

State police are looking for a woman suspected of driving away from the Dandy Mini Mart in Smithfield Township without paying for gasoline.

Police reported that the woman is between 35 to 45 years of age, wearing glasses. When seen the woman was wearing a black coat and blue jeans, driving a silver four-door sedan. The woman is accused of pumping $30 in gas into her vehicle on Feb. 25, then leaving the scene without paying.

Charge filed against juvenile

State police have filed a charge of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse against a 15-year-old juvenile male.

Police reported that the juvenile is accused of having had improper sexual contact with a 10-year old male.

Police said the charge has been filed with the Bradford County Probation Department.

Man charged with disorderly conduct

A Gillett man was cited by state police recently for disorderly conduct. Police reported that Joseph Doherty, 68, has been accused of firing weapons near residences along state Route 4013, near the state border, on Feb. 7.

Man accused of DUI

A Troy man was cited by state police recently on charge of driving while under the influence.

Police reported that Jeffrey B. Benjamin, 52, was cited for the above offense on Feb. 26, following an incident on U.S. Route 6, just east of state Route 3019.

Criminal mischief reported in Columbia Township

State police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief that occurred recently in Columbia Township.

Police reported that vandals smashed and cracked the windshield of a backhoe that belongs to the Columbia Township Maintenance Department. Police said the incident occurred between Feb. 20 and Feb. 24.

Snow thrower stolen

State police are investigating the theft of a snow thrower that occurred in Terry Township.

Police reported that an unidentified man, age 60, of Willow Grove, discovered that his shed had been broken into and his Craftsman snow thrower stolen. Police said the incident occurred between Jan. 3 and Feb. 20.
