No injuries reported
No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 1:50 p.m. Feb. 26 on Route 14 in South Creek Township, said state police at Towanda.
Drivers involved in the accident were Isaac R. Gerken, 29, of Marietta, Ohio, and Jacques J. Leger, 57, of Hickson, Ontario, police said.
According to police, the crash occurred as Gerken was backing from a garage onto Route 14, and Leger, who driving a Freightliner Con south, was unable to avoid striking Gerken's Dodge Stratus, hitting its rear bumper and quarter panel area with the trailer he was pulling.
Police said Leger was able to bring his vehicle to a controlled stop partially in the southbound lane and shoulder of Route 14. Members of the South Creek Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
Gerken was charged with a "limitations on backing" violation, police said.
Windows taken
A 61-year-old Friendsville, Pa. man told state police at Towanda that someone removed six windows from his barn sometime between Feb. 1 and Feb. 19 on Coryland Road in Wells Township.
Police did not name the victim.
Charges withdrawn
Charges of criminal trespass and harassment against William E. Kneebone, Jr., 28, of 409 S. Elmer Ave., Sayre, were withdrawn and a charge of disorderly conduct was moved to a non-traffic citation recently before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw in Sayre, according to Shaw's office.
The charges were for an incident at 1:10 p.m. Dec. 25 at 115 Cliff St., Sayre, according to court papers.
The papers note that Kneebone had been charged for pushing and shoving Tara J. Kneebone, no age given, around her residence on Cliff Street.
In an affidavit, William Kneebone told police that he didn't push her.
