Juvenile accused of burglary
A 13-year-old boy recently burglarized a neighbor's residence on Mountain Road in Franklin Township, police said.
The boy bent the window screen off from one of the residence's front windows, lifted up the window, and crawled inside, police said.
Once inside, the teenager went into several bedrooms and removed various items, police said.
No one was home at the time of the burglary, which occurred at 5 p.m. Thursday, state police at Towanda said.
The 13-year-old who committed the burglary was charged with criminal mischief, burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking or disposition, and receiving stolen property, police said.
Residence broken into
A burglary recently occurred at Jackson's trailer court in Wysox Township, police said.
Someone entered a 20-year-old male's residence at the trailer court and removed several items, police said.
The burglary occurred sometime between 9 p.m. on Aug. 11 and 2;30 a.m. on Aug. 12, state police at Towanda said.
Break-in reported in Orwell Twp.
A burglary recently occurred at a 72-year-old man's seasonal property on Manchester Road in Orwell Township, police said.
Someone forced entry into the property and removed several items, state police at Towanda said.
The burglar or burglars also discharged a fire extinguisher and removed a pot belly coal stove from another building on the victim's property, police said.
The burglary occurred sometime between Aug. 1 and Aug. 17, police said.
Burglary occurs in Warren Twp.
A burglary has occurred at a 58-year-old man's recreational cabin at the Chaffee Creek Gun Club in Warren Township, police said.
The burglar or burglars entered the cabin through a first-floor bathroom window and removed several items, police said.
The burglary occurred sometime between June 20 and Aug. 17 along Allyn Run Road, state police at Towanda said.
Criminal mischief occurs in Pike Twp.
A case of criminal mischief recently occurred along Hutchison Road in Pike Township, police said.
Someone "turfed" a 63-year-old Wyalusing man's field with a vehicle, police said.
State police said they do not know what type of vehicle was involved in this incident.
The incident occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday, state police at Towanda said.
