Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas and were sentenced in Bradford County Magisterial District Courts:

Barry Agneta, 51, Athens, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Harassment and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 15 days (suspended) and ordered to pay court costs. Officer Derek Dekar of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Agneta for the offense in August 2013.

Richard Beavers, 29, Waverly, NY, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Possession of a Small Amount of Marihuana and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 30 days (suspended) and ordered to pay court costs. Officer Derek Dekar of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Beavers for the offense in July 2013.

Joshua Casterline, 21, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Disorderly Conduct and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 16 days and ordered to pay court costs. Officer Derek Watkins of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Casterline for the offense in September 2013.

Tiffany Rose, 25, Athens, PA, entered pleas of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 30 days and ordered to pay court costs. Officer Jason Serfas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Rose for the offense in June 2013.

Adrian Olivera-Moran, 40, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Harassment and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for two days and ordered to pay court costs. Trooper Tyler Brackman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Olivera-Moran for the offense in August 2013.

Thomas Zaleski, 42, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Harassment and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for eight days and ordered to pay court costs. Sergeant David Lantz of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Zaleski for the offense in September 2013.

Jack Eddy, 33, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Criminal Mischief and was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $575.00 and court costs. Trooper David Pelachick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Eddy for the offense in August 2013.

John W. Ross, 65, Ulster, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to the offense of Reckless Driving and was ordered to pay a fine and court costs. Trooper Michael Trebendis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Ross for the offense in June 2012.

Jesse C. Dupont, 20, Troy, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to the offense of Harassment and was ordered to pay a fine, restitution in the amount of $210.00 and court costs. Trooper David Kittle of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Dupont for the offense in May 2012.

John H. Dehaan, 58, Wyalusing, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to the offense of Harassment and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term equal to the number of days already served at sentencing and ordered to pay court costs. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Dehaan for the offense in August 2013.

Tammy Hickey, 37, LeRaysville, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was ordered to pay a fine of $100.00 and court costs. Officer Ryan Edsell of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Hickey for the offense in July 2013.

Lauren Parks, 19, Troy, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 13 days and ordered to pay court costs. Deputy Brian Wibirt of the Bradford County Sheriff's Department arrested Parks for the offense in August 2013.

Joel Vanderpool, 30, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was ordered to pay court costs. Deputy James Hart of the Bradford County Sheriff's Department arrested Vanderpool for the offense in July 2013.

Mitch Johnson, 20, Troy, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 13 days and ordered to pay court costs. Chief Deputy David Hart of the Bradford County Sheriff's Department arrested Johnson for the offense in August 2013.

Ryan Smith, 20, Towanda, PA, entered pleas of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offenses of Loitering and Prowling at Nighttime and Public Drunkenness and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for eight days, a fine of $150.00, and ordered to pay court costs. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Smith for the offense in August 2013.

Christopher Clark, 42, Troy, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 13 days and ordered to pay court costs. Deputy Patrick Butkiewicz of the Bradford County Sheriff's Department arrested Clark for the offense in August 2013.

April Campbell, 31, Elmira, NY, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Theft By Unlawful Taking and was ordered to pay a fine of $100.00, restitution in the amount of $136.57, and court costs. Officer Jason Serfas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Campbell for the offense in May 2013.

Benjamin Galacci, Athens, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Harassment and was ordered to pay court costs. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Galacci for the offense in July 2013.

Nancy Benjamin, 25, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was ordered to pay a fine of $100.00 and court costs. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Benjamin for the offense in July 2013.

Paul Dodd, 39, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and was sentenced to pay a fine of $100.00 and court costs. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Dodd for the offense in July 2013.

Mark A. Briggs, 45, Gillett, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Corruption of Minors; he will be sentenced on November 18, 2013. Trooper Miranda Musick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Briggs for the offense in February 2013.

Erica Gardner, 21, Troy, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and was immediately sentenced to probation for a term of one year and a fine of $150.00; she was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $1230.00. Trooper Brandon Allis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Gardner for the offense.

Michelle Coyne, 46, Waverly, NY, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance; she will be sentenced on November 18, 2013. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Coyne for the offense.

Brandon Luckman, 25, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Use of a Noxious Substance and was immediately sentenced to probation for a term of six months and a fine of $150.00. Trooper Frank Naughton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Luckman for the offense.

Darrhyl Hankins, 27, Monroeton, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance; he will be sentenced on November 18, 2013.

Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Hankins for the offense.

Jeremy McKenzie, 27, Towanda, PA, entered pleas of guilty to two counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol; he will be sentenced on November 7, 2013. Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police and Corporal Norman Strauss of the Pennsylvania State Police, respectively, arrested McKenzie for the offenses.

Jared L. Brackbill, 29, Bailey's Corners, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance; Conspiracy to Delivery a Controlled Substance; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance; he will be sentenced on November 7, 2013. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Brackbill for the offenses.

Rosemary Johnson, 43, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance (Bath Salts); she will be sentenced on November 7, 2013. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Johnson for the offense.

John Worthington, 28, Springville, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance; he will be sentenced on October 31, 2013. An Agent of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Worthington for the offense.

Jenelle Maines, 21, Towanda, PA, entered pleas of guilty to two counts of the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol; she will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Ryan Edsell of the Towanda Borough Police Department and Trooper Kevin Hibson of the Pennsylvania State Police, respectively, arrested Maines for the offenses.

Lindsey L. Polzella, 27, Sayre, PA, was resentenced, following revocation of her original sentence of probation for violation of probation conditions, to a total term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from three months to 12 months, and fines totaling $300.00, for the offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Retail Theft. Polzella will also lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for six months.

Justin P. Breon, 23, Muncy, PA, was sentenced, following revocation of his original sentence of probation due to violation of probation conditions, to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 40 days to 12 months, and a fine of $300.00, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Michael Addario, 21, Elmira, NY, was resentenced, following revocation of his original sentence of probation for violation of probation conditions, to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional facility of from three months to six months, and a fine of $250.00, for the offense of Disorderly Conduct.

Steven Cieri, 33, Gillett, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from seven months to 24 months for the offenses of Criminal Trespass and Theft By Unlawful taking. Cieri was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $1443.32.

Miguel C. Vicioso, 50, Southport, NY, was sentenced, following revocation of his original sentence of probation for violation of probation conditions, to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from two months to 18 months for the offense of Obstruction of Administration of Justice or Other Governmental function.

Michael A. Pierce, 26, York, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from nine months and 180 days to seven years, probation for a term of two years, a fine of $2800.00, for the offenses of Aggravated Assault, Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, Resisting Arrest, and Driving While Operating Privilege Suspended (DUI related).

James Lynn Carr, 22, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from two days to 23 months for the offense of Default in Required Appearance.

Eric D. Knapp, 27, Milan, PA, was resentenced following revocation of his original sentence of County Intermediate Punishment for violation of program conditions, to an additional one year term of County Intermediate Punishment, probation for a term of two years, and fines totaling $350.00, for the offenses of Forgery and Identity Theft. Knapp was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $2272.40.

Jason F. Nichols, 35, Nichols, NY, was sentenced to County Intermediate Punishment for a term of 36 months, and a fine of $1500.00, for the offense of Arson.

Jarred D. Jayne, 18, Canton, PA, was resentenced, following revocation of his original sentence of probation for violation of probation conditions, to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 30 days to six months and a fine of $300.00, for the offense of violation of a Probation from Abuse Order. .

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pennsylvania:

Alicia Anderson, 27, Ulster, PA, charged with the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in May 2013 by Officer Denny Slater of the Athens Township Police Department, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Anderson will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Anderson must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel as conditions of probation.

Jessica H. White, 28, Dushore, PA, charged with the offense of Aggravated Assault in September 2012 by Trooper Nathan Lewis of the Pennsylvania State Police, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, White will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department; which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use.

Additionally, White must perform 40 hours of community service as a condition of ARD placement.

Cecilia Yesuvida, 54, Towanda, PA, charged with the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in October 2012 by Trooper Michael Trebendis of the Pennsylvania State Police, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on Probation Yesuvida will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Yesuvida must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel as conditions of ARD placement; she will also lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days.

Abraham Root, 37, Gillett, PA, charged with the offense of Simple Assault in May 2013 by Trooper David Pelachick of the Pennsylvania State Police, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on Probation Root will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department; which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use.

Howard R. Brown IV, 23, Sayre, PA, charged with the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in July 2012 by Officer Derek Watkins of the Sayre Borough Police Department, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on Probation, Brown will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Brown must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel as conditions of ARD placement; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days.

Ryszard Cendrowski, 64, Wyalusing, PA, charged with the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in December 2012 by Trooper Michael Mislevy of the Pennsylvania State Police, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on Probation, Cendrowski will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Cendrowski must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel as conditions of ARD placement; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days.

Palmer, 27, Ulster, PA, charged with the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in April 2013 by Sergeant James Shaw of the Athens Borough Police Department, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on Probation, Palmer will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Palmer must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel as conditions of ARD placement; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days.

Bradley Hayton, 49, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of nolo contendere to Obstruction of Administration of Law or Other Governmental Function and was immediately sentenced to probation for a term of six months. Deputy Brian Wibert of the Bradford County Sherriff's Department arrested Hayton for the offense in May 2013.
