District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced the following recent criminal case resolutions in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Sentenced

Ryan J. Hunsinger, 20, Sayre, PA, was sentenced to a total term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 60 days to 120 days, and Probation for a term of 12 months, and fines totaling $600, for the offenses of two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, each a misdemeanor; Criminal Mischief, a summary offense; Defiant Trespass, a misdemeanor of the third degree; Harassment, a summary offense.

Officers of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Hunsinger for the offenses in June 2013.

Andrew T. Smales, 61, Sayre, PA, was sentenced to Probation for a term of six months, and a fine of $1000, he will also lose his driver's license for 12 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Trooper Mark Sadowski of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Smales following investigation of an incident that occurred in Rome Township.

Samuel Lee Corey, 21, Troy, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 48 hours to six months, and a fine of $750, he will also lose his driver's license for 12 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Officer Joshua Heckman of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Corey for the offense in August 2013.

Katie Brown, 19, Monroeton, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from one month to 12 months, and a fine of $100, she will also lose her driver's license for six months, for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Officer Denny Slater of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Brown for the offense on Nov. 12, 2013.

Samantha B. Walters, 20, no permanent address, was sentenced to three years of house arrest under electronic monitoring, and a fine totaling $300, for the offenses of Forgery, a misdemeanor of the first degree; Access Device Fraud, a misdemeanor of the third degree; Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, a misdemeanor of the second degree; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor; and Criminal Trespass, a felony of the third degree. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department and Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Walters for the offences in September and November of 2011.

Brian Rought, 36, Burlington, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of months and a fine of $1000, for the offense of Driving under Suspension, a summary offense.

Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Rought for the offense.

Brian May, 49, Canton, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 90 days to 23 months, and a fine of $1500, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months, for the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Trooper Michael Mislevy of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested May following investigation of an incident that occurred in Leroy Township on May 2, 2013.

Tonya Merritt, 25, Wyalusing, PA, was sentenced to a fine of $100 for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Deputy Brian Wibirt of the Bradford County Sheriff's Department arrested Merritt for the offense.

Renee Shattuck, 26, Canton, PA, was sentenced to Probation for a term of 12 months, and a fine of $500, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Officer Joshua Heckman of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Shattuck for the offense in August.

Kaleb Whyte, 23, Monroeton, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 10 days to six months, and a fine of $300, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Whyte following investigation of an incident that occurred in Albany Township.

Bryant Engle, 24, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to State Intermediate Punishment for 24 months, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $300 (buy money), and a fine of $2250, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months, for the offense of two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a felony and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, both misdemeanors. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Engle for the offense in Oct. 17, 2013. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit also arrested Engle following investigation of an incident that occurred in Monroe Township and Troy Borough in 2013.

Alan Warburton, 59, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to Probation for a term of one year and a fine of $350 for the offense of Open Lewdness, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Trooper Richard Evans of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Warburton following investigation of an incident that occurred in Sheshequin Township in April 2013.

Arthur Barrett, 47, Columbia Crossroads, PA, was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from 10 days to six months, and a fine of $150, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Barrett following investigation of an incident that occurred in Monroe Township in Sept. 30, 2012.

Matthew Gay, 22, Sayre, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from 18 months to 48 months, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $6611.98, for the offenses of four counts of Theft by Deception, misdemeanors of the first degree. Officer Steven Burlingame of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Gay for the offense in 2011-2012. Trooper David Pelachick of the Pennsylvania State Police also arrested Gay following investigation of an incident that occurred in Albany and Sylvania Borough in 2012-2013.

Justin Sluyter, 25, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 90 days to 23 months, and a fine of $1500, he will also lose his driver's license for 24 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Officer Nikki Hoffman of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Sluyter for the offense in Sept. 9, 2013.

Rosemary Johnson, 43, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from six months to 23 months, and a fine of $3000, she will also lose her driver's license for 36 months, for the offenses of two counts of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, misdemeanors of the first degree. Trooper Brandon Allis and Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Johnson following investigation of an incident that occurred in Burlington and Sheshequin Townships in March and April 2013.

Tabatha Geiss, 34, Johnson City, NY, was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of Restrictive Intermediate Punishment to a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility of from three months to 23 months, and a fine of $500, for the offense of Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance, a felony.

Sergeant Daniel Reynolds of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Geiss for the offense in 2010.

Richard Rivera, 47, Athens, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from one month to 23 months followed by Probation for a term of one year and a fine of $450, for the offenses of Aggravated Assault, Felony of the second degree, Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree and Recklessly Endangering Another Person, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Derek Dekar of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Rivera for the offense in Aug. 3-4, 2013.

Casey Carpenter, 30, of Sayre, PA, was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from three months to 13 months and a fine of $150, for the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Cory Williams of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Carpenter for the offense in June 2011.

Charles McManus, 46, of Durrell, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from two years to five years, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $195 and a fine of $200, for the offenses of Aggravated Assault, a felony of the first degree. Officer Dale Bowen of the Northeast Bradford Police Department arrested McManus for the offense in July 2013. Because the victim was over sixty years old, the court had to impose a minimum sentenced of two years for the conviction for aggravated assault.

Lauren Parks, 20, of Troy, PA, was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of Intermediate Punishment to a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility of from three months to 12 months and a fine of $150, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Parks following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township in May 2012.

Charles Skaggs, 44, Indiana, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from three months to 18 months, and a fine of $1000.00, for the offense of Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors, a Felony. Sergeant David Lantz of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Skaggs for the offense in May.

Kenzie Rider, 23, Canton, PA, was sentenced to Probation for a term of 12 months and a fine of $350 for the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree and Public Drunkenness, a summary offense.

Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Rider for the offense in 2013. Rider was also placed on 12 months' probation supervision without convictions for other charges, under the ARD diversionary program the additional charges will be dismissed if she completes the conditions.

Joel Schoonover, 27, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to Probation for a term of 18 months for the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Corporal Norman Strauss III of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Schoonover following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.

Duane Demellier, 33, Sayre, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from four months to 18 months, and a fine of $500, for the offense of Obstruction of Governmental functions. Trooper Miranda Musick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Demellier following investigation of an incident that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Richard Seymour, 54, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 100 days to 18 months, and a fine of $1500, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, second offense, misdemeanor of the second degree. Trooper Kevin Hibson of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Seymour following investigation of an incident that occurred in Standing Stone Township.

Joel Schoonover, 27, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term of three days to six months, and a fine of $300, he will also lose his driver's license for 12 months for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Trooper Michael Mislevy of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Schoonover following investigation of an incident that occurred in North Towanda Township.

Tyler Belles, 22, Athens, PA, was sentenced to Probation for a term of six months and a fine of $300 for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Officer Richard Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Belles for the offense in May 23, 2013. Casey J. Voorhees, 24, Sayre, PA, was sentenced to Probation for a term of two years, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $8500 and a fine of $500 for the offense of Receiving Stolen Property, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Timothy Cahill of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Voorhees for the offense in July 2013.

Mark R. Van Horn, 27, Tioga, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term of 56 days to 23.5 months, and Probation for a term of one year, he was also ordered to pay restitution totaling $1564, and a fine of $500, for the offense of Burglary, a felony of the second degree.

Trooper David Pelachick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Van Horn following investigation of an incident that occurred in Granville Township.

Elese D. Minier, 28, Troy, PA, was sentenced to Probation for a term of 12 months, she was also ordered to pay restitution of $150, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Minier following investigation of an incident that occurred in West Burlington Township.

Monica A. Ellenberger, 31, Canton, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term of 22 days to 23.5 months, she was also ordered to pay restitution of $300, and a fine of $250, for the offense of Receiving Stolen Property, a misdemeanor of the second degree; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Officer Josh Heckman of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Ellenberger for the offense in January 2013.

Stephen M. Bloss, 32, Sayre, PA, was sentenced to a term of County Intermediate Punishment for two years, and a fine of $1500, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Officer Jason Serfas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Bloss for the offense in July 2013.

Jared P. Wyman, 42, Harrison, MI, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term of six months plus 72 hours to 29 months for Reckless Endangering, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $18771.71, and a fine of $1500, will also lose his driver's license for 12 months for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor, and Recklessly Endangering another Person, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Jason Serfas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Wyman for the offense in May 2013.

Jason Stroud, 34, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term of six months to 12 months, and a fine of $500, he will also lose his driver's license for six months, for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Stroud following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township on Nov. 13, 2012.

Engell J. Salinas, 32, Temple, GA, was sentenced to Probation for a term of 18 months, and a fine of $1500, for the offense of Corruption of Minors, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Salinas for the offense on August 2013.

Guilty pleas

Tyler Belles, 21, Athens, PA, entered a plea of guilty to Driving under the Influence of Alcohol; he will be sentenced on Dec. 16, 2013. Officer Rich Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Belles for the offense.

Michael J. O'Donnell, 40, Elmira, NY, entered pleas of guilty to the offenses of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor, Accidents Involving Damage to Attend Vehicle or Property, a misdemeanor of the third degree and Careless Driving, a summary offense. Officer Brian Wibirt of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested O'Donnell for the offense in November 2013.

Robert W. Coles Jr, 43, Granville Summit, PA, entered pleas of guilty to the offenses of two counts of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, each a misdemeanor. Troopers Joshua Fisher and Christopher Schelling, respectively, arrested Coles for the offenses following investigation of incidents that occurred in Granville Township.

Darrell D. Mosier, 26, Wysox, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Mosier will be sentenced on March 16, 2014. Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Mosier following investigation of an incident that occurred in Rome Borough.

Hilary A. Brewster, 57, Binghamton, NY, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Brewster will be sentenced on March 13, 2014. Trooper Matthew Grebeck of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Brewster following investigation of an incident that occurred in Stevens Township.

Allen B. Carnrike, 41, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Carnrike will be sentenced on March 13, 2014. Trooper Sean Flynn of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Carnrike for the offense in September 2013.

Fredrick B. Peake Jr, 47, Athens, PA, entered pleas of guilty to two counts of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, each a misdemeanor of the first degree. Peake was arrested for the offenses in July and September 2013 by Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police and Officer Timothy Cahill of the Athens Borough Police Department respectively.

Robert J. Foster, 37, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Donald Stringham of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Foster for the offense in July 2013.

Edward Lichtenfels III, 21, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Attempt to Commit Theft from a Motor Vehicle a misdemeanor of the second degree. Sergeant David Lantz of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Lichtenfels for the offense in December 2013.

Howard D. Freeman, 54, New Albany, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Indecent Assault, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Freeman will be sentenced, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department and report by the Sexual Offender Assessment Board. Trooper Miranda Musick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Freeman following investigation of an incident that occurred in Albany Township.

Selena Nogar, 22, Athens, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Nogar will be sentenced on March 31, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Sergeant James Shaw of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Nogar for the offense in September 2013.

David Northrup, 50, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Northrup will be sentenced in April 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Richard Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Northrup for the offense in on July 13, 2014. Northrup remains in custody pending sentencing for Driving under Influence of Alcohol offenses on July 11 and July 13, 2013.

David Northrup, 50, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Northrup will be sentenced in April 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Northrup following investigation of an incident that occurred in North Towanda Township on July 11, 2013. Northrup remains in custody pending sentencing for arrests in July 11 and July 13, 2013.

Jason Rockwell, 34, Troy, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Theft, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Rockwell will be sentenced on Feb. 20, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Miranda Musick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Rockwell following investigation of an incident that occurred in Burlington Borough on January 15, 2011.

Eric Satterly, 29, Waverly, NY, entered pleas of guilty to the offenses of Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree and Terroristic Threats, misdemeanor of the first degree. Satterly will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Sergeant Keith Stackhouse of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Satterly for the offense in Sept. 7, 2012.

Dennis R. Manuel, 38, New Albany, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Manuel will be sentenced on March 17, 2014. Trooper Joshua Thompson of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Manuel following investigation of an incident that occurred in New Albany Borough.

Manuel had been placed in the ARD diversionary program but failed to complete the program, the case was called to court and Manuel pled guilty.

Robert L. Strope, 42, Nichols, NY, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Strope will be sentenced on March 13, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Cody Welch of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Strope for the offense in July 2013.

Leslie Palumbo, 46, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor Palumbo will be sentenced on March 13, 2014. Officer Cody Welch of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Palumbo for the offense in September 2013.

Katie M. Brown, 19, Monroeton, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree and was immediately sentenced to Probation for a term of 15 months and a fine of $150. Brown will be sentenced on March 13, 2014. Officer Denny Slater of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Brown for the offense in November 2013.

Rudy J. Rodriquez, 34, Shenandoah, IA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree and was immediately sentenced to Incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 90 days to six months, and a fine of $1500. Trooper Christopher Schelling of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Rodriquez following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township.

Gary Mapes, 37, Elmira, NY, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Receiving Stolen Property, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Mapes will be sentenced on March 13, 2014. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Mapes for the offense in September 2012.

Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD)

Thomas Stroud, 35, Wysox, PA, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Stroud will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Stroud must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim impact Panel as conditions of ARD placement; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Andrew Stevens of the Athens Borough Police Department filed the charges in Sept. 4, 2013 for the offense in Athens Borough.

Robert Thetga, 29, Warren Center, PA, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Thetga will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Thetga must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim impact Panel as conditions of ARD placement; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Thetga for the offense on July 19, 2013 in Windham Township.

Lucinda Williams, 52, Towanda, PA, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Williams will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Williams must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days.

Trooper Christopher Stecik of the Pennsylvania State Police filed charges for an offense in Towanda Township on Sept. 15, 2013.

Melanie McGuire, 48, Sayre, PA, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, McGuire will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, McGuire must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel. Officer Roger Clink of the Athens Township Police Department filed charges in Sept. 13, 2013, for the offense in Athens Township.

Bruce Rice, 48, Wysox, PA, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Rice will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Rice must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Officer Jason Serfas of the Athens Township Police Department filed charges in Sept. 27, 2013, for the offense in Wysox Township.

Alan Fortenberry, 60, Stevensville, PA, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Fortenberry will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Fortenberry must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days.

Trooper Peter Smith of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Fortenberry for the offense in Tuscarora Township on Oct. 4, 2013.

Jacob Jayne, 21, Canton, PA, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Jayne will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Jayne must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Nolo Contendere

Mario Ramirez, 43, Wysox, PA, entered a plea of nolo contendere/no contest to Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Ramirez will be sentenced on Feb. 27, 2014. A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced.
