Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Robert Uitz, 19, Sayre, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from one month to eleven months, 29 days, and a fine of $500, for the offense of Simple Assault. Officer Sean Flynn of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Uitz for the offense in November of 2012.

Samuel Lundy, 32, Wysox, PA, was resentenced following revocation of his original sentence of probation to a new term of probation which will extend for a period of 24 months, and a fine of $500, for the offense of Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance; he was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $160. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Lundy for the offense in June of 2011.

Cody Collins, 20, Oklahoma, was sentenced to a total term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from 64 months to 144 months, and fines totaling $1,500, for two counts of the offense of Assault; he was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $5650.97. Troopers James Dughi and Miranda Musick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Collins for the offenses in May and November of 2012, respectively.

Lauren Parks, 19, Troy, PA, was sentenced to probation for a term of 12 months, and a fine of $75, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Troopers James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Parks for the offense in May of 2012.

Heather Shaffer, 25, Waverly, NY, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from two months to four months, and a fine of $50, for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance; she will also lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for six months. Officer Bruce Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Shaffer for the offense in September of 2011.

Chase Argot, 29, Wysox, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional of from 90 days to 18 months, and a fine of $1,500, for the offense of driving Under the Influence of Alcohol; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 18 months. Trooper Matthew Grebeck of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Argot for the offense in April of 2012.

Michael Johns, 28, Lowman, NY, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from 11 months to 36 months, and a fine of $500.00, for the offense of Theft By Unlawful Taking. Johns was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $600. Officer Rich Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Johns for the offense in June of 2012.

Dakota Hinckley, 19, Monroeton, PA, was sentenced to probation for a term of six months for the offense of Solicitation to Commit Forgery.; he was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $80. Trooper James Youngblood of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Hinckley for the offense in July of 2012.

Dede Keene, 43, Waverly, NY, was resentenced following revocation of her original sentence of probation to a new term of probation that will extend for a period of 18 months, and a fine of $250, for the offense of Resisting Arrest. Officer Cody Welch of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Keene for the offense in September of 2012.

Tyler VanHousen, 20, Sayre, PA, was resentenced following revocation of his original sentence of probation to a total term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from four months and 60 days to 24 months, and fines totaling $800, for the offenses of Criminal Trespass and Harassment. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department arrested VanHousen for the offenses in February of 2012.

Nicholas Preston, 25, Wyalusing, PA, was sentenced to a total term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 10 days to 12 months, and fines totaling $2,000, for two counts of the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Preston will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 24 months. Trooper John Youngblood of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Preston for the offenses in August of 2012.

Joseph G. Allen, 40, Athens, PA, was sentenced to a total term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from nine months to 24 months, and fines totaling $2,000, for the offenses of Driving Under the Influence

of Alcohol and Driving While Operation Privilege Suspended. Allen will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 18 months. Officer Richard Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Preston for the offenses in January of 2013.

Mario Sanchez, 30, Leraysville, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from five days to 50 days, and a fine of $500, for the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 12 months. Trooper Michael Moser of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Sanchez for the offense in January of 2013.

Jason Lopez, 28, Elmira, NY, was sentenced to a total term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from 11 months to 36 months, and fines totaling $2,800, for the offenses of Aggravated Harassment by Prisoner and Criminal Mischief. Lopez was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $97. Troopers

David Sweeney and Michael Moser of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Lopez for the offenses in March of 2012.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently entered pleas of guilty in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Todd Smith, 41, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to Obstruction of Administration of Law or other Governmental Function, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Smith will be sentenced, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper David Pelachick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Smith for the offense in March of 2012.

Shane Collins, 27, Troy, PA, entered a plea of guilty to Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Collins will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Kevin Hibson of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Collins for the offense in December of 2012.

Lauren Parks, 19, Troy, PA, entered a plea of guilty to Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Parks will be sentenced on March 13, 2013, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Parks for the offense in

May of 2012.

Heather Shaffer, 26, Waverly, NY, entered a plea of guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Shaffer will be sentenced on March 13, 2013, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Bryan Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Shaffer for the offense in September of 2012.

John H. Kern, II, 19, Rome, PA, entered a plea of guilty to Corruption of Minors, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Kern will be sentenced on April 11, 2013, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper David Pelachick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kern for the offense in September 2012.

Melissa Thiel, 30, Elmira, NY, entered pleas of guilty to Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree, and Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Thiel will be sentenced on April 15, 2013, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Joshua Uhl, 21, Sayre, PA, entered pleas of guilty to Burglary, a felony of the first degree, Receiving Stolen Property, a misdemeanor of the second degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Uhl will be sentenced on April 15, 2013, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officers of the Sayre Borough Police Department and Trooper Joshua Thompson of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Uhl for the offenses in October thru December of 2012.

Henry Johnson, 55, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty but mentally ill to Criminal Trespass, a felony of the third degree. Johnson will be sentenced on April 15, 2013, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Johnson for the offense in August 2012.

Kristal Hobday, 29, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty to Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Hobday will be sentenced on April 15, 2013, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Michael Mislevy of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Hobday for the offense in December 2012.

Leonard E. Watson, 35, Scranton, PA, entered a plea of guilty to Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Watson will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Karri Dobson of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Watson for the offense in July of 2011.

Heather Wilcox, 41, Wellsboro, PA, entered pleas of guilty to Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor, and Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Wilcox will be sentenced on April 15, 2013, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Brandon Allis of the PA State Police arrested Wilcox for the offense in November of 2012.

Tyler VanHousen, 20, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty to Harassment, a summary offense. VanHousen will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Joshua Lake of the

Towanda Borough Police Department arrested VanHousen for the offense in November of 2012.

Kenneth Dalton, 49, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Dalton will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Michael Moser of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Dalton for the offense in July 2012.

Douglas P. Pierce, 42, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Pierce will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper John Kern of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Pierce for the offense in September of 2012.

Jonathan Butler, 35, Troy, PA, entered pleas of guilty to Aggravated Assault, a felony of the second degree, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, a misdemeanor of the second degree, Possession of a Precursor of Methamphetamine Manufacture (Liquid Ammonia), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, Theft By Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree, and Criminal Trespass, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Butler will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Troopers Brandon

Allis and Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania state Police arrested Butler for the offenses in October and November of 2012, respectively.

Keith Johnson, 35, Ulster, PA, entered a plea of guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Johnson will be sentenced on April 4, 2013, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Cpl. Douglas Smith of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Johnson for the offense in September of 2012.

Michael Labor, 22, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to Attempted Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Labor will be sentenced on April 14, 2013, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Labor for the offense in February of 2013.

Daniel Heeman, 30, Dushore, PA, entered a plea of guilty to Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Heeman will be sentenced on April 15, 2013, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper David Kittle of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Heeman for the offense in January of 2013.

Shane Huffman, 23, West Virginia, entered pleas of guilty to two counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, each a misdemeanor. Huffman will be sentenced in April 2013 following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer John Hennessey of the Towanda Borough Police Department and Trooper Kevin Hibson of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Huffman for the respective offenses.

Howard Edger, 57, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty to Delivery of a Controlled Substance (oxycodone), a felony. Edger will be sentenced on April 4, 2013, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Edger for the offense in May 2012.

Joy Marie Simons-Bayles, 39, Towanda, PA charged with the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in December 2012 by Trooper Wayne Dunkling of the Pennsylvania State Police, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Simon-Bayles will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Simon-Bayles must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; she will also lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days.

John R. Conner, 23, Wyalusing, PA charged with the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in September 2012 by Trooper Kevin Hibson of the Pennsylvania State Police, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Conner will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Conner must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days.

Kevin Scrivens, 30, Sayre, PA charged with the offense of Forgery, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 9 months. While on probation, Scrivens will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Conner must perform 40 hours of community service.

Andrew Floyd, Jr., 22, Towanda, PA, was resentenced following revocation of his original sentence of probation to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from four months to 12 months, and a fine of $500, for the offense of Defiant Trespass.

Joshua Chapman, 20, Waverly, NY, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from eight days to one year, and a fine of $300, for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Chapman will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for six months. Trooper Brandon Allis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Chapman for the offense in December of 2012.

Abby M. Boss, Ulster, PA, was resentenced following revocation of her original sentence of probation to a total term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from nine months to 23 months, 29 days. Boss was also ordered to pay restitution of $1602.41 and fines totaling $200, for the offenses of Access device Fraud and Retail Theft. Trooper Michael Wienckoski of the Pennsylvania State Police and Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Boss for the offenses in June of 2011 and January of 2012, respectively.

Carole D. Hobday, 53, Millerton, PA, was resentenced following revocation of her original sentence of probation to probation for a term of 24 months, and a fine of $500, for the offense of Retail Theft. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Hobday for the offense in June of 2011.

Ryan J. Hunsinger, 19, Sayre, PA, was sentenced to probation for a total term of 18 months and fines totaling $300, for two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and single counts of Criminal Mischief and Harassment. Officers of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Hunsinger for the offenses in July and August of 2012.

Gerald B. Perry, 29, Rochester, NY was sentenced following criminal trial by jury to a total term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from 39 months to 60 months, and fines totaling $1,185, for the offenses of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, Flight to Avoid Apprehension, and False Identification to a Law Enforcement Officer; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 months. Officer John Hennessy of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Perry for the offenses in August of 2012.

Brandon M. Walburn, 23, Canton, PA, charged with the offense of Simple Assault by Trooper Nathan Lewis of the Pennsylvania State Police in October 2012, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 18 months. While on probation, Walburn will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Walburn must undergo anger management counseling with treatment as prescribed.

Linsey Nichols, 31, Rome, PA, charged with the offense Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by Trooper Matthew Grebeck of the Pennsylvania State Police, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Nichols will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Davaajargal Grish, 37, Monroeton, PA, charged with the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by Corporal Adam Kowalczyk of the Pennsylvania State Police, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Gish will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Grish must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days.

Norman Zamarche, 51, Athens, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from one month to eight months, and a fine of $250, for the offense of Theft By Unlawful Taking. Officer Derek Watkins of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Chandler for the offense in November of 2012.

Steven Stack, 32, Rome, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 10 months to 23.5 months, and a fine of $500, for the offense of Obstruction of Administration of Law or Other Governmental Function. Corporal Albert Ogden of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Stack for the offense in March of 2012.

Andrew Yankovich, 21, Bear Creek, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 48 hours to six months, and a fine of $500, for the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Trooper Joseph Mitchell of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Yankovich for the offense in September 2010.

District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Thomas Rumsey, 55, Mansfield, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from 13 months to five years, and a fine of $2,500, for the offense of driving Under the Influence

of Alcohol. Trooper Joseph Andrews of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Rumsey for the offense.

David Thomas Stafford, 27, Rochester, NY, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from four months to 23 months for the offense of Indecent Assault. Officer Travis Snyder of the Sayre Police Department arrested Stafford for the offense in February of 2012.

Lloyd Bailey, 27, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to probation for a term of six months, and a fine of $300, for the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Trooper Matthew Grebeck of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bailey for the offense in October of 2012.

Caleb Rundle, 25, McCook, NE, was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Faculty of from 10 days to 23 months, and a fine of $500, for the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Rundle will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 12 months. Trooper Kevin Hibson of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Rundle for the offense in August of 2012.
