Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Ronald F. Bahr, 53, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 45 days to 12 months and a fine of $750 for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Officer Nikki Hoffman of the Athens Borough Police arrested Bahr for the offense in September.

Shannon Marie Horton, 30, Rome, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from two months to six months for the offense of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Trooper Miranda Musick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Horton. In 2010 Horton was resentenced after she failed to complete an earlier sentence of probation supervision.

Tammy Geiss, 33, Sayre, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 72 hours to six months and a fine of $1,050, she will also lose her driver's license for 12 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree and Public Drunkenness, a summary offense. Officer Nikki Hoffman of the Athens Borough Police arrested Geiss for the offense on Sept. 24, 2013.

Kyle Peppard, 28, Waverly, N.Y., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from four days to 12 months and a fine of $350, for the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Officer Jeremy Horton of the Sayre Borough Police arrested Peppard for the offense on Dec. 5, 2013.

Michael O'Donnell, 40, Elmira, N.Y., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 60 days to 18 months and a fine of $1,525, he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor, Accidents Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle or Property, a misdemeanor of the third degree and Careless Driving, a summary offense.

Officer Brian Wibirt of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested O'Donnell for the offense on Nov. 2, 2013. Trooper Christopher Stecik of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested O'Donnell following investigation of an incident that occurred in Asylum Township on Nov. 2, 2013.

Daniel Rohde, 43, Corning, N.Y., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from two months to 12 months and a fine of $500, for the offense of Default in Required Appearance, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Bradford County Chief County Detective, Greg Hostettler arrested Rohde for the offense on Sept. 16, 2012.

Paul Randle, 44, of Troy, Pa., was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation for a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 30 days to 12 months and a fine of $1500 for the offense of Firearm not to be Carried W/O a license, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Bryan Bellows of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Randle for the offense in June 2012.

Shane Clapper, 23, of Troy, Pa., was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation for a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility of from six months to 23 months, 29 days, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $941.13, and a fine of $900 for the offenses of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree, Criminal Trespass, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Troopers Michael Moser and Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Clapper following investigation of incidents that occurred in Monroeton Borough and Burlington Township in 2011 and 2012.

Jordan Frisbie, 20, of Waverly, N.Y., was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation for a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 15 days to 12 months and a fine of $350 for the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Nathan Ross of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Frisbie for the offense on Sept. 22, 2012.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Christopher Davis, 48, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Davis will be sentenced on June 12, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Jeremy Horton of the Sayre Police Department arrested Davis for the offense for the offense in May. Davis had been placed in the diversionary ARD program but his ARD was revoked for failure to comply with the terms of the program.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) Program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Norman Swartz, 31, Sayre, Pa., charged with Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on Probation, Swartz will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Swartz must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 80 days. Officer Travis Snyder of the Sayre Borough Police Department filed the charges on Jan. 30, 2014, for the offense in Sayre Borough.

Jacob Schmidt, 25, Hughesville, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on Probation, Schmidt will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Schmidt must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days.

Officer Andrew Stevens of the Athens Borough Police Department filed the charges on Dec. 28, 2013, for the offense in Athens Borough.

Joshua Mitchell, 26, Sayre, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on Probation, Mitchell will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Mitchell must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Jeremy Horton of the Sayre Borough Police Department filed the charges on Feb. 21, 2013, for the offense in Sayre Borough.

Jeffrey Middleton, 41, Barton, N.Y., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on Probation, Middleton will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Middleton must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days.

Officer Andrew Stevens of the Athens Borough Police Department filed the charges on Dec. 31, 2013, for the offense in Athens Borough.

Michelle Cole, 41, Rome, Pa., charged with the offense of Simple Assault, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of six months. While on Probation, Cole will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use.

Additionally, Cole must perform 40-hour community service. Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Cole for the offense on Feb. 4, 2014, in Windham Township.
