Man taken into custody
State police at Towanda said that David Charles Kinner, 37, of Gillett, was taken into custody for public intoxication at 8:45 a.m. Jan. 30 on Carey Road at Gulf Road in Orwell Township.
Trooper Hibson said that troopers responded to the report of a man sleeping in a vehicle at the location, and when they arrived, they encountered Kinner standing outside the vehicle. He was determined to be highly intoxicated.
Kinner was taken in front of Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton and fined $440.50. He was unable to pay the fine and was committed to Bradford County Correctional Facility.
Man charged in assault of 22-month-old
A 28-year-old Millerton man has been charged with aggravated assault and related offenses for causing serious bodily injury to a 22-month-old girl Dec. 19 in Wells Township, according to state police at Towanda.
Trooper Nathan L. Lewis said that Joseph M. White was taken into custody and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox.
White was placed in Bradford County Correctional Facility in lieu of $75,000 bail.
State police at Towanda said that a 17-year-old male juvenile was charged violating the conditions of a protection from abuse order after calling a 16-year-old female juvenile 11 times within a half hour between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Jan. 28 at a location on Route 14 in Troy Township.
Trooper Sadowski said the male juvenile's actions were a violation of the PFA.
State police at Towanda said charges of indecent assault were filed against a 13-year-old male juvenile who is accused of having indecent contact with a 9-year-old female between July and December in Alba.
Trooper Musick said the charges were filed through juvenile probation.
Man charged with harassment
State police at Towanda said that charges for summary harassment were filed against Jerome Chester Janoski, no age given, of Granville Summit, after an argument between Janoski and a 52-year-old Granville Summit woman became physical at 8:15 p.m. Jan. 19 on Allen Meadow Road in West Burlington Township.
Trooper David Kittle said Janoski grabbed her by the neck and squeezed.
The charges were filed at Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox's office.
Fugitive from justice charged
State police at Towanda said that Robert Wesley Dawson, Jr., no age given, of Waverly, N.Y., who is an inmate at the Bradford County Correctional Facility in West Burlington Township, was found to be wanted in the state of New York and was charged at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 25.
Trooper Michael J. Tribendis, Jr. said charges for arrest prior to requisition were filed and Dawson was arraigned at the jail by Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox. Dawson is awaiting extradition to New York.
Juvenile charged for PFA violation
State police at Towanda said that a 17-year-old male juvenile was charged with indirect criminal contempt in the Bradford County Juvenile Court for an incident that took place Jan. 14 at the Dandy Mini-Mart in Troy.
Trooper Youngblood said that the juvenile violated a protection from abuse order at the Dandy Mini-Mart. The victim was a 16-year-old female juvenile.
