State police at Mansfield said 32 to 35 prescription pills worth $10 belonging to Steven Bruce Lambert, Jr., 29, of Troy, was taken from his backpack sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 4:35 p.m. Oct. 16 at a location along Lambs Creek Road in Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pa.
A 26-year-old Columbia Cross Roads woman told state police at Towanda that someone scratched the passenger side of her vehicle sometime between 11 p.m. Oct. 14 and 8 a.m. Oct. 15 on South Calaman Lane in Columbia Township.
A 67-year-old Gillett woman told state police at Towanda that someone damaged her mailbox sometime between Oct. 11-15 on Ayres Road in South Creek Township.
Stevensville man charged with breaking into garage
Joseph Kevin Bates, 30, of Stevensville has been charged with criminal trespass after police said he broke into a garage owned by Johnson's Quarries and entered it without permission on Sept. 21 near the intersection of LeRaysville Road and Sugar Cabin Road in Warren Township.
Bates is scheduled to appear before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton on Nov. 26 for a preliminary hearing.
The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:
Jenelle Martha Maines, 21, of Towanda, by state police, on Oct. 2, on State Route 6 in Wysox Township.
Maines has also been charged with failing to drive in a single lane, speeding, careless driving and operating a vehicle without current registration.
Police said on the night of her arrest, Maines had a blood alcohol content of .269 percent.
State police at Towanda said James Lawrence Malehorn, 38, of Troy was found to be under the influence and was charged with driving while under the influence following a traffic stop as a result of an observed traffic violation at 7:17 p.m. Oct. 13 on Route 14, north of Route 6, in Troy Township.
State police at Towanda said Lawrence McKeever, 32, of Elmira Heights, N.Y. was being charged with DUI after being involved in a one-vehicle crash at 5:32 p.m. Oct. 12 on Route 14 in Columbia Township, after consuming alcoholic beverages.
