Monroeton man charged in theft
Jason Dunn, 32, of Monroeton was charged this week in the theft of a golf cart from the D&R Steel property in Wysox Township, police said.
Darrell Dennis Mosier, 25, of Rome was charged on Sept. 17 with stealing the golf cart, police said. Dunn helped Mosier load and transport the golf cart in a truck, police said.
Mosier sold the golf cart on Sept. 15 for $600, state police said.
Mosier and Dunn were both charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition and receiving stolen property, police said.
Mosier's preliminary hearing, which was originally scheduled for Oct. 15 in Wysox District Court, has been postponed to Nov. 12.
Dunn's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 26.
Theft occurs in Cherry Twp.
State police said they are trying to find out who stole items from a vehicle that was parked at the Fitzpatrick & Lambert auto dealership on state Route 87 in Cherry Township.
The thieves removed a tailgate assembly equipped with an integrated step and a back-up camera from a 2014 white Ford F-350 Lariat, police said.
The theft occurred between 7 p.m. on Oct. 14 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 15, police said.

Towanda woman charged with theft
Karen Marie Hagerman, 33, of Towanda is accused of stealing $290 in cash from a register at the Kmart department store in Wysox Township, as well as $644 in merchandise from the store, police said.
The thefts occurred between Sept. 28 and Oct. 19, state police at Towanda said.
Hagerman has been charged with theft by unlawful taking, retail theft, and receiving stolen property, court records show.
Hagerman's preliminary hearing, which was originally scheduled for Oct. 29 in Wysox District Court, has been postponed to Nov. 19.
