Wyalusing students charged with harassment
Two female students at Wyalusing Valley High School were recently charged with harassment by state police.
According to state police at Towanda, a 17-year-old female of Wyalusing and a 17-year-old female of Sugar Run had a physical fight at about 1:05 p.m. Oct. 25 at the high school. Charges were filed against both in district court, police said.
Man charged with burglary
State police at Towanda recently arrested a man on a charge of burglary.
According to state police, Gerald Vernon Brown Jr., 64, no address given, was also charged with two counts of harassment and one count each of criminal trespass and criminal mischief.
Police said Brown broke through the front door of a residence on Marsh Lane in Smithfield Township at about 8 p.m. Oct. 23. While there, Brown verbally harassed a male and female inside the house, then left the residence, police said.
