Vandalism reported

A 47-year-old Gillett woman told state police at Towanda that someone spray painted obscene symbols/pictures on her truck, Jeep, pool and dumpster sometime between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 1 and 12:30 a.m. Sept. 2 on Ayres Road in South Creek Township.

Garage door damaged

A 43-year-old Towanda man told state police at Towanda that someone broke a window and kicked a hole in his garage door sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sept. 28 on Weed Hill Road in Burlington Township.

Charges to be filed

State police at Towanda said they responded to a report of an argument between family members at 4:13 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 2800 block of Lower Mountain Road in Canton Township and drug paraphernalia was discovered at the residence.

Police said Taylor Machmer, 19, no address given, claimed responsibility for all of the items and charges will be filed against her in District Court.

Waverly woman arrested

A Waverly woman was recently charged with possession of drug paraphernalia by Sayre Borough police.

According to information filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw, Nicole A. Chandler, 22, was found to be in possession of cotton balls, a hypodermic needle, alcohol wipes and a large quantity of plastic packaging squares during investigation into a Sept. 20 incident at a Tioga Street residence.

Chandler's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 22.
