Bicycles stolen in Towanda
A resident on Watts Street, Towanda Borough reported two bikes stolen from the residence on or about Oct. 9, Towanda police said.
One bike is a 24 inch "Huffy", with pegs on the front. The other is a blue in color, 26 inch "Cherokee" women's bike.

TV stolen in Towanda
A resident on Thomas Street, Towanda Borough reported his TV was stolen from a rental property that he owns, police said.
The TV was last seen on Oct. 1, police said. The TV is described as a 19 inch "Sylvania" flat screen, Towanda police said.

Drug, knife incident investigated in Laporte
State police at Laporte said they are investigating a report of a Sullivan County High School student being in possession of a drug or drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a knife.
The incident occurred on Thursday in Laporte at the high school, police said.
State police said they are awaiting the results of lab tests related to the investigation.
Utility pole damaged in Fox Twp. crash
A hit-and-run driver struck and damaged a utility pole off the south side of North Street in Fox Township, Sullivan County, according to the state police at Laporte.
The accident occurred at 2:15 a.m. on Nov. 12, as the driver was traveling east on North Street, approximately one-tenth of a mile west of Tuffy Road, police said.
Theft occurs in Wysox Township
State police said they are trying to determine who stole copper tubing, a sump pump, an extension cord from a 50-year-old man's property on U.S. Route 6 in Wysox Township.
The theft occurred sometime between noon on Nov. 10 and noon on Nov. 12, state police at Towanda said.

Burglary occurs in North Towanda
State police at Towanda said they are trying to determine who committed a burglary at a 47-year-old woman's residence on McKale Road in North Towanda Township, police said.
Someone entered the residence sometime between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Nov. 8, and stole assorted jewelry, police said.

Burglaries occur in Fox Township
State police said they are trying to determine who burglarized three cabins in Fox Township, Sullivan County.
Two of the cabins are on Picnic Ground Road and the third is on North Street, police said.
The burglar or burglars used some type of prying tool to gain access to the cabins and their sheds, state police said.
Various equipment was stolen during the burglaries, including DVD players, tools, hunting equipment, and other items, police said.
The burglaries occurred between 10 a.m. on Nov. 3 and 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 4, police said.
The cabins are owned by a 34-year-old man from Landenberg, Pa.; a 55-year-old man from Mountain Top, Pa.; and a male from Horseheads, N.Y., police said.

Vandalism occurs in Standing Stone
Someone vandalized a 22-year-old Wyalusing woman's vehicle by cutting the rear driver side tire with a cutting instrument, police said.
The vandalism occurred sometime between 10 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 10 a.m. on Nov. 10 while the vehicle was parked in a parking lot along U.S. Route 6 in Standing Stone Township, police said.
Theft occurs in Wysox Township
State police said they are trying to determine who cut the lock on a 32-year-old Wysox man's storage unit and removed an Ingersoll Rand impact driver, police said.
The burglary occurred sometime between 7 p.m. on Aug. 30 and 2 p.m. Aug. 31 along U.S. Route 6 in Wysox Township, near the Sherwood Groves auto dealership, police said.

"Name not required, just your information," the state police at Towanda said in a press release that they issued about the theft. "Up to $2,000 cash reward if your information results in an arrest."
Two arrested following traffic stop in Franklin Twp.
State police at Towanda said they conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle in Franklin Township, which resulted in the arrest of two Towanda residents.
Upon making contact with the occupants of the vehicle, it was determined that a passenger, 31-year-old Summer Ann Benjamin, was in possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
It was also determined that the driver, John Thomas Parker of Towanda, was driving under the influence, police said.
Parker, 55, and Benjamin were both arrested during this traffic stop, which occurred at 6:38 p.m. on Nov. 7 at the intersection of state Route 414 and Brocktown Road, police said.
Benjamin, who is a Towanda resident, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and Parker was charged with driving under the influence, police said.
Someone uses counterfeit note at Monroeton store
State police are trying to determine who used a counterfeit $10 note to buy merchandise at the Dandy Mini Mart in Monroeton, police said.
The incident occurred sometime between 6 a.m. and 1:23 p.m. on Oct. 19, according to the state police at Towanda.
