Wheel and tire stolen
State police are continuing to investigate a report of theft on state Route 4008 in Elkland Township, Sullivan County.
According to police, between March 21 and March 29, an unknown person stole a 16-inch tire and rim off of a bucket truck on a property owned by Keith Scaife, of Forksville.
Gun discharged in Asylum Twp.
Tonia Burgess, 39, of Towanda has been charged with aggravated assault for an incident which occurred on the morning of March 17 in Asylum Township.
According to police, Burgess was involved in a verbal argument with a 40-year-old male from Towanda which turned physical. During the altercation, a firearm was discharged inside of the residence, police said.
State police are investigating a report of vandalism which occurred at 1:13 a.m. on March 29 on the 800 block of Joyce Road in Rome Township.
According to police, the victim had an aluminum gate to an access road damaged by an unknown person.
Nothing was taken from the property and no other damage was found, police said.
