Woman faces drug charges in Monroe Twp.

Heather Lynn Wilcox, 41, of Wellsboro has been charged in Monroe Township with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

The charges stem from a traffic stop of Wilcox' vehicle on Brocktown Road, which police said they conducted because they knew she did not have automobile insurance.

After administering field sobriety tests and confirming that Wilcox had no insurance, she was arrested on suspicion of DUI, police said.
