Vehicle strikes utility pole in Franklin Twp.
A 17-year-old Monroeton boy suffered a minor injury recently when the vehicle he was riding in was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Franklin Township, police said.
The accident occurred on April 9, when Kristopher D. Schrimp of Monroeton was driving a Ford F-150XLT north on Crayton Hill Road, police said.
Schrimp lost control of the vehicle, which traveled off the west side of the road and struck a utility pole, state police at Towanda said.
Schrimp was uninjured, police said.
Theft occurs in Standing Stone Twp.
Someone stole numerous items recently from Berg & Bennett Inc. of Wysox at a site along U.S. Route 6 in Standing Stone Township, police said.
Stolen from the site were 25 pieces of 24-foot-long three-inch galvanized steel pipe, valued at $6,000, and a steel rack valued at $1,000, police said.
The theft occurred sometime between April 6 and April 13, state police said.
