Towanda man charged with possession of drug paraphernalia

Walter Bump III of Towanda has been charged with resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the Bradford County Sheriff's Office.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred Tuesday at a Sheshequin Road residence in Towanda Township, according to the Sheriff's Office.

During the incident, the 24-year-old Bump was in possession of five hypodermic needles, a metal spoon with a residue on it, a red straw with a scoop on the end of it, and a digital scale with a residue on the surface, police said.

DUI charge

The following person was recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:

Letitia Lynn Frye-Irish, 40, of Towanda, by the Towanda police, on April 20 on the Merrill Parkway in Towanda Borough. A blood test revealed that Frye-Irish had a blood alcohol content of .164 percent on the day of her arrest.
