Towanda man charged with possession of heroin
Michael Joseph Labor, 23, of Towanda was in possession of 12 packets of heroin during an incident in the Dandy Mini Mart's parking lot on U.S. Route 6 in Burlington Borough, police said.
Ten of the packets were inside a prescription pill bottle in the vehicle he was driving, while the other two packets were stored inside a cigarette pack that he was carrying, state police at Towanda said.
As a result of this incident, which occurred on April 17, Labor was charged with possession of a controlled substance, police said.
Labor has been sent a summons which orders him to appear on June 12 in Towanda District Court for a preliminary hearing.
Towanda man charged with indecent exposure
Alan Edwin Warburton, 58, of Towanda has been charged with indecent exposure and open lewdness, police said.
The charges were filed after a neighbor reported to police that Warburton was intentionally masturbating in a location where the neighbor would see him, according to the state police at Towanda.
Warburton told police that he wasn't masturbating, according to the court document that the state police filed in Towanda District Court.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:25 p.m. on April 25, state police said.
Domestic dispute in Rome results in minor injury
Roger L. Hitchcock, 57, of Rome has been charged with criminal trespass and harassment relating to a March 28 incident in Windham Township.
According to police, Hitchcock and his girlfriend Kelly Parton, began arguing inside of Parton's residence and eventually began wrestling.
Parton then ordered Hitchcock to leave her home. Hitchcock initially complied and Parton locked the door behind him, police said.
A short time later, Hitchcock broke through the front door to the residence and was subsequently struck with a club by Parton.
Hitchcock received a head wound during the dispute and went to Towanda Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Hitchcock has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton on May 21 for a preliminary hearing.
Hay bales damaged
State police report that an unknown person damaged five hay bales belonging to a 39-year-old male on the 600 block of Vought Hill Road in Windham Township sometime between midnight and 5 a.m. on May 2.

Woman charged for slapping man
Pam Vanderpool, 22, of Wyalusing has recently been charged by State Police with harassment for slapping a 27-year-old male Wysox resident in the face twice on April 29 in Tuscarora Township, police said.
