Vehicle strikes tree in Towanda Twp.

Motorist Amanda L. Remington, 67, of Towanda suffered a minor injury recently in a motor vehicle accident on state Route 3009 in Towanda Township, police said.

At 6 a.m. Wednesday, Remington struck a tree when she swerved to avoid a deer that had run into the roadway, police said.

Vandalism occurs in Columbia Twp.

Someone cut the wires to the blinker light attached to a road closed sign on U.S. Route 6 in Columbia Township, police said.

The vandalism occurred between 5 p.m. on July 7 and 8 a.m. on July 8 at a work zone at a bridge site, state police said.

Theft occurs in Wyalusing Twp.

Someone stole a Real Tree brand game camera from a 61-year-old man's property on Old Stagecoach Road in Wyalusing Township, police said.

The theft occurred sometime between July 6 and July 8, state police said.

Vehicle strikes tree stump in Stevens Twp.

Francis O. Hall, 22, of Rushville, Pa., suffered a minor injury in a motor vehicle accident in Stevens Township, police said.

Hall was driving east on state Route 706 when he lost control of his vehicle while traveling on a left turn in the roadway, police said.

The vehicle left the south side of the roadway, traveled over an embankment, and struck a dead tree stump, police said

The accident occurred at 6:05 p.m. on July 3, 1,329 feet west of Waterman Road, according to the state police at Towanda.

Theft occurs in Albany Twp.

Someone stole several gas cans from a structure along French Creek Road in Albany Township, police said.

The theft occurred on a property owned by a 52-year-old New Jersey man, police said.

The theft occurred between June 4 and July 2, state police said.

Theft occurs in Asylum Twp.

Someone stole a Pennsylvania registration plate from a 53-year-old man's boat trailer, police said.

The theft occurred between 11 p.m. on July 5 and 6 a.m. on July 6 at 744 Echo Beach Road, Asylum Township, police said.

Three charged with harassment

James Alic Maxwell, 44, of Towanda; Amy Michelle Bull, 40, of Towanda and Tina Louise Cameron, 43, of Towanda were all charged with harassment following an incident which occurred at 6:57 p.m. on July 11, at the Chestnut Hills Apartments in Towanda Township, according to a report by Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda.

Police said that Maxwell, Bull and Cameron all used language and actions that annoyed each other and despite numerous warnings to ignore each other and avoid all contact, all three did not follow these instructions. Each were charged with one summary count of harassment, police said.
