Accident occurs in Forks Township
No one was injured in a recent motor vehicle accident on state Route 87 in Forks Township, Sullivan County, police said.
The accident occurred at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, as Gloria J. Ryan of Dushore was driving north on Route 87, police said.
A deer entered the roadway, striking Ryan's vehicle, state police at Laporte said.
Ryan's vehicle had to be towed from the scene, police said.
Computer stolen in Wyalusing
Someone stole a 36-year-old man's laptop computer from the center console of his van while it was parked recently either in the Wyalusing Hotel parking lot or Ram Zone parking lot in Wyalusing, police said.
The theft occurred between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on July 15, state police said.

"Your name is not required, just your information," the state police wrote in a press release that they issued about the theft. "Anonymous tips may pay up to $2,000."
