Ulster woman charged with interference with the custody of children
Abby Boss, 21, of Ulster is accused of taking custody of a child that she was not to because of an existing court order, police said.
The incident occurred on July 12 in Rome Township, police said.
Boss has been charged with interference with the custody of children, state police at Towanda said.
New Albany woman charged with assault
Ashley Jo White, 26, of New Albany has been charged with simple assault and harassment.
The charges stem from an incident in which White allegedly attacked her husband on July 15 while they were having an argument, police said.
White's husband, 32-year-old Jason Patrick White, suffered cuts on his head, chest and left arm, and bruising around his right eye and on his chest, police said.
Ashley Jo White was arraigned by Towanda Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on July 16 and released on non-monetary bail, police said.
Ashley Jo White must attend a preliminary hearing before Judge Clark on July 25.
