Harassment/criminal trespass reported
State police at Towanda said charges for criminal trespass and harassment were being filed at District Court 42-3-01 against Catherine Tefertiller, 52, of Athens, who is accused in an incident that took place July 18 in Granville Township.
Police said she entered the property of a 56-year-old Granville Township woman without permission and then got into a physical altercation involving pushing and shoving with the victim. Police said the altercation was about an ex-boyfriend.
State police at Towanda said Sarah L. Werner, 17, of Granville Summit, had an injury of unknown severity in a crash at 8:08 a.m. July 8 on Route 6 in West Burlington Township.
Police said she was traveling east, went off the right shoulder for unknown reasons, and struck a utility pole and then spun clockwise, coming to final rest facing west on the eastbound shoulder. Police said the utility pole was cut in half.
State police at Towanda said one person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 9:45 a.m. July 4 on Route 414 at the intersection with Mill Street in Leroy Township.
Police said drivers involved in the accident were Piotr Kulis, 21, of Athens, and Constant F. Benninger, 71, of Canton, who were not injured. Police said a passenger in Benninger's vehicle, Betty L. Benninger, 69, of Canton, had a minor injury.
According to police, Kulis' vehicle, a Peterbilt truck, struck the rear of Benninger's vehicle, a Ford Taurus, with its front end. Police said Kulis was charged with a violation of "driving vehicle at safe speeds."
