Wheels stolen in Pike Township
State police said they are trying to determine who stole four aluminum wheels from a 36-year-old man's property on Patten Hill Road in Pike Township.
The theft occurred sometime between Aug. 4 and Aug. 11 on the property where the man lives, according to the state police at Towanda.
Tools stolen in Pike Twp.
State police at Towanda said they are trying to determine who stole hammers and chisels from 50-year-old man's quarry on Babcock Road in Pike Township.
The theft occurred sometime on Aug. 12 or Aug. 13, police said.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact the state police at Towanda at (570) 265-2186 or 1-800-4-PA-TIPS.
"Name not required, just your information," the state police said in a press release that they issued about the theft. "Anonymous tips may pay up to $2,000."
Man charged with simple assault
Brandon Lawrence Alexander, 24, of Granville Summit, has been charged with two counts of simple assault, two counts of DUI, disorderly conduct, and harassment for a domestic incident that occurred Aug. 16 on Bridge Street Hill Road in Towanda Township, according to papers filed with Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy.
According to an affidavit, the victim, Nicole VanDyke, no age or address given, told police that she and Alexander got into an argument on Bridge Street Hill Road, and he grabbed her by the shirt and punched her in the head about three times.
Wilcox said Alexander faces a preliminary hearing at 1 p.m. Aug. 29. He was placed in Bradford County Correctional Facility after not posting $55,000 bail.
Man charged with furnishing
Camryn Mitchell Fletcher, 21, of Gillett, faces a preliminary hearing at 2 p.m. Aug. 29 before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy on a charge of selling/furnishing liquor, etc. to a minor, according to court papers.
The papers note that Fletcher purchased beer in Troy and furnished the alcohol to two persons under the age of 21.
Wilcox said Fletcher was sent a summons.
People charged with DUI
The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:
Gavin Raymond Roberts, no age given, of Elmira, N.Y. by state police at 7:13 p.m. July 17 on Ulster Road in Smithfield Township.
Roberts has also been charged with accidents involving damage to attended vehicle or property, a lane violation, a violation of "driving vehicle at safe speed," and careless driving, police said, according to papers filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy. Police said there was a crash, and Roberts fled the crash scene on foot and was located a short time later in a field.
Wilcox said Roberts was sent a summons for a preliminary hearing at 2:15 p.m. Aug. 29.
Cory Andrew Bollman, 31, of Cresson, Pa. by Canton police at 12:26 a.m. Aug. 1 on Springbrook Drive in Canton.
Bollman has also been charged with reckless driving and restrictions on alcoholic beverages, according to papers filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy.
Wilcox said Bollman was sent a summons for a preliminary hearing at 2 p.m. Sept. 5.
