Drug possession charge
A Towanda man was recently arrested by Athens Borough police on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
According to information filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw, Ronald Bahr, 52, was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police said Bahr was found to be in possession of bath salts, a scale, cotton balls and hypodermic needles during a traffic stop Sept. 9 on South Main Street.
Bahr was arraigned Sept. 10 and remanded to the Bradford County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. Bahr's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 17.
Vandalism at Darling Cemetery
State police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief relating to an incident that occurred between Aug. 2 and Aug. 3 at Darling Cemetery in Rome Township.
According to police, an unknown person damaged the grass on the property. Police said no other damage occurred and nothing was taken from the cemetery.

No injuries in Terry Twp. crash
Brandon J. Carr, 24, of New Albany has been charged with careless driving after a Sept. 8 single vehicle accident on Evergreen Road in Terry Twp.
According to police, Carr was traveling west in a 2003 Dodge Ram when he lost control, crossed into the east bound lane then back across the western lane of travel before striking an embankment on the shoulder of the road.
Police said Carr's vehicle then rolled onto its driver's side before coming to a rest in the roadway.
At the time of the accident, Carr was wearing his seat belt and suffered no injuries, police said.
