Burgalry reported in Windham Township
According to Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda, a white male descibed as being in his late-twenties to early-thrities with an unsahven face wearing blue jeans and possibly a flannel shirt used a pry tool to gain entry to a garage a residence along Route 187 in Windham Township at approximately 2:33 p.m. on Aug. 29, 2012. Once inside, he removed a 50" LED television fron its wall mount and then forced his way into the house where he was confronted by the homeowner. The suspect then fled the scene in a white SUV, possibly a 2003 to 2007 Ford Explorer.

Underage drinking charges
Stephen R. Casey, 19, of Pembroke, Mass., has been charged by Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda with underage alcohol consumption stemming from an incident at 2:10 a.m. on Aug. 31 on Route 6 in Wyalusing Township.
Scattering rubbish reported
According to Pennsyvania State Police in Towanda, someone deposited beer bottles and soda cans on a property along Evans Road in Litchfield Township sometime between noon on Aug. 24 and 6 p.m. on Aug. 25.
Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda have charged Dustin Michael Owen, 27, of New Albany, with harassment stemming from an incident involving a 24 year old female at 9:26 a.m. on Sept. 4 on Leesway Lane in Albany Township.
Pennsylvania state police at Towanda recently incarcerated a Troy man on a charge of attempted rape.
According to information from state police, Frank Toth, 49, was also charged with aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and simple assault.
Police said Toth attempted to rape a person Sept. 2 at the Armenia Mountain Campground in Armenia Township. Toth prevented the victim from leaving the area and physically assaulted the victim, police said.
Toth was arraigned and remanded to the Bradford County Jail in lieu of $50,000, police said.
Man charged for indecent contact
Pennsylvania state police at Towanda recently charged a Columbia Cross Roads man following allegations he had inappropriate contact with a six-year-old victim.
According to state police information, Douglas Williams, 39, was charged with 10 counts each of incest, rape, aggravated indecent assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and statutory sexual assault.
The charges were filed following investigation into the alleged incidents, which occurred between Jan. and Nov. 2011, police said. Williams is currently incarcerated in New York state, police said.
Woman charged with assault
An Athens woman was recently arrested by borough police on a charge of simple assault.
According to information filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw, Theresa Ann Rinebold, 52, was also charged with harassment.
Police said Rinebold punched a female victim in the face Sept. 12, causing a large cut on the bridge of her nose and a bruised eye.
Rinebold was arraigned Sept. 12 by Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark and released from the Bradford County Jail on non-monetary bail conditions. Rinebold's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 18.
