Man charged in PFA violation

A man was recently charged with violating a protection from abuse order by Pennsylvania State Police.

According to information from state police in Towanda, William James Elliott, 86, no address given, was also charged with harassment.

Police said Elliott violated a PFA filed against him by a female victim Sept. 24 at a Warren Township location. Police said Elliott and the victim became involved in a verbal argument that became physical.

Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda recently charged a Towanda man with harassment.

According to state police information, Michael Horton, 31, grabbed and shoved a female victim Aug. 27 at a location on River Lane in Sheshequin Township.
