Theft occurs in Wysox

State police are trying to determine who stole four truck tires and aluminum wheels from a vehicle that was parked in a lot near the intersection of state Route 187 and U.S. Route 6 in Wysox Township.

The lot is located south of Route 6, police said.

The vehicle belongs to a 47-year-old Wysox woman, state police said. The theft occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Wheelchair damaged in Wysox

State police said they are trying to determine who damaged a wheelchair that was left outdoors in the 100 block of Dogwood Lane in Wysox Township.

The right arm rest and controls to the wheelchair were damaged in the incident, which occurred sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, police said.

Dushore man faces weapons charge

Andrew Jake Mornhineway of Dushore was found to be in possession of a set of metal knuckles that are prohibited by law, police said.

The incident occurred at 2:05 a.m. on March 24, along U.S. Route 220 in Dushore, police said

Mornhineway, 21, was charged with prohibited offensive weapons and disorderly conduct, state police at Laporte said.

Vandalism occurs in Asylum Twp.

State police said they are trying to determine who deposited dirt into a fuel tank of a vehicle that was parked on Tuttle Lane in Asylum Township.

The vehicle belongs to a 54-year-old Sayre man, police said.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours of March 11, state police at Towanda said.

Canton woman charged

State police at Mansfield said that Monica Ellenberger, 30, of Canton, and Nakia Carpenter, 18, of Roaring Branch, were charged with retail theft after they tried to remove clothing from the Mansfield Wal-mart at 4:30 p.m. April 5 in Richmond Township, Tioga County, Pa.

Man arrested

State police at Towanda said that Stanley Butler, Jr., 42, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of DUI after being involved in a reportable crash at 9:10 p.m. March 31 in the 1000 block of Grover Road in Canton Township.

Trooper Sadowski said that the crash caused damage to another person's property and disabling damage to the vehicle Butler was driving. Butler exhibited signs of impairment, according to police.

Police said charges are pending the results of a blood-alcohol content test.
