LeRaysville man charged with indecent assault
Dustin Tylar McManus, 18, of LeRaysville has been charged with indecent assault relating to an early April incident at Lake Bonin Campground in Orwell Township.
According to police, McManus is accused of making unwanted sexual advances toward a juvenile.
McManus has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton on July 16 for a preliminary hearing.
Domestic dispute ends with charges
Roger L. Hitchcock, 57, of Rome has been charged with criminal trespass and harassment relating to a March 28 incident in Windham Township.
According to police, Hitchcock was involved in a domestic dispute in which he broke through the front door of a residence.
Hitchcock has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton on July 16 for a preliminary hearing.
Man injured during assault
Zachary Clayton Sheldon, 28, of Wyalusing has been charged with simple assault and harassment for his involvement in a April 26 incident in Stevens Township.
Police said Sheldon struck an acquaintance of his multiple times, forcing him to fall to the ground. Police said the victim was found with blood on his face and shirt as he walked with a limp and complained of a knee injury from the assault.
Sheldon has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton on July 16 for a preliminary hearing.
Checks stolen in Standing Stone
Summer Lee Woll, 34, of Wyalusing has been charged with forgery, theft by deception and receiving stolen property stemming from a February 12 incident in Standing Stone Township.
According to police, Woll stole five checks from a residence in Standing Stone Township and proceeded to use three of them at Flynn's Stone Castle General Store. The amount of the three stolen checks totaled $442.27.
Woll has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton on July 16 for a preliminary hearing.
Syringe used for bath salts discovered
Cory David Briggs, 28, of Gillett has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a syringe in a vehicle he was operating on May 15 in Towanda.
According to police, Briggs admitted the syringe was his and that he used it to inject bath salts.
Charges to be filed in theft
State police at Towanda said Tracy Nicole Trainor, 24, of Towanda, is accused in a theft that took place between 7:19 a.m. and 10:04 a.m. June 13 at the Bradford County Manor in West Burlington Township.
Police said Trainor stole money from the purse of a 30-year-old Monroeton woman, who was her co-worker.
Charges will be filed in District Court 42-3-01, police said.
State police at Towanda said Virgil W. Ivy, 50, of Gillett, had an injury of unknown severity in a one-vehicle accident at 6:30 p.m. June 1 on Route 6 in Troy Township.
Police said he was traveling west in a Toyota Corolla and lost control of the vehicle, crossed the eastbound lane, and struck a guide rail. According to police, it rolled on the driver's side and slid back across the road, coming to final rest in a ditch off the westbound fog line.
Police said Ivy was charged with a violation of "roadways laned for traffic."
